主讲人简介            

Rong Chen (陈融) is guest professor of Dalian University of Foreign Languages and emeritus professor at California State University, San Bernardino. He has published more than 60 articles and four books in various areas of linguistics, was the academic organizer of ICLC 11 (2011, Xi’an), and has served on the ICLA Governing Board. His newest book is Toward a Motivation Model of Pragmatics (De Gruyter, 2022). He is under contract with Cambridge University Press for another monograph (2023) and is working on a book-length study on the ways in which the figure-ground gestalt motivates marked constructions in language.

Xiaoxia Hu（胡晓霞）is lecturer of Shanxi Datong University. Her main research interest is cognitive linguistics, pragmatics and English teaching and learning. Her MA thesis is A Construction Grammar Analysis of the Novel Bèi XX Expressions.
