   爱V高中英语的教学研发团队都是来于一线的高中英语老师，致力于探索高效的教学方法和行之有效的学习策略。词汇学习是英语学科的重要构成部分，学好单词才能打下英语佳绩的江山。

语境记单词，立足于新人教版的每单元阅读文本，通过以概况即Summary的形式把主旨大意或以同题小短文形式呈现，同时把单元的核心单词融于语境中，学生在熟悉单元主题阅读文本主旨大意的同时，顺应语境形成有效的词汇学习！本资源更通过挖空练习，重现单词的使用，强化学习效果。

语境记单词为爱V高中英语的教研团队老师一起开发，并且经过三轮的审稿，改稿，才最终定稿！为落实到课堂使用，后期录制了音频、视频（视频制作：李玲）和制作了PPT。本资源内容包括：

2019新人教版必修三summary Unit 4 SPACE EXPLORATION

Passage 1

Space exploration: the final frontier

Recently, countries around the globe are keen on figuring out unsolved mysteries of the universe and are carrying on projects including sending astronauts into space who are selected and required to do a lot of mental training and intelligent enough to get a related college degree. What’s more, they make efforts to launch satellites orbiting around Earth to transmit data back and make more advanced vehicles for exploration like rockets and spacecrafts. These procedures signal a giant leap for mankind, resulting in the increasing determination for NASA space agency to explore space independently even beyond the solar system. At present, the ongoing work is building the International Space Station with astronauts on board.

宇宙探索：最后的边界

最近，全球每一个热衷于探索宇宙未解之谜的国家都在继续一些包括送宇航员进入太空的项目, 这些被挑选的宇航员要求足够聪明去获得相关的大学文凭以及进行一系列的心理训练。另外, 这些国家也努力发送环绕地球运行并且传输相关数据的人造卫星，以及制造更多用于探索的先进运输工具，例如火箭和宇宙飞船。这些进程标志着人类进程的一大步，也促进和体现NASA宇航局对于独立探索宇宙（甚至是超出太阳系范围）的决心。目前这项持续发展工作的任务是建造拥有宇航员的国际空间站。

Is exploring space a waste of time?

Astronauts usually float around while sleeping due to lack of gravity. What’s more, they will carry essential facilities to support daily life just like towel, tissue and soap during space exploration. Some people argue space exploration is a waste of time because of its huge risks, for  they think we should attach more importance to finding a solution to fatal diseases and making analysis for current problems. While others have sufficient evidence to prove its benefits. For example, space-based science has provided useful recommendations and advice for farmers to grow enough food to feed Earth' s increasing population and it would also help develop high-end products that we regularly monitor as the limited resources will run out. In closing, in hope of providing for increasing population, It’s worthwhile to explore space.

  太空探险是浪费时间吗？

由于缺乏重力，宇航员在睡觉的时候通常会悬浮在空中。除此之外, 他们在探索时会带一些生活必要的设备，比如说毛巾，纸巾和肥皂。有一些人认为，因为其高风险性，太空探索是浪费时间的事情，并且他们觉得我们更应该重视的是找到应对致命疾病的方法以及对现有问题的分析。与此同时，另一些人有充分的证据表明太空探索的好处。例如，太空科学给农民提供有用的推荐和建议来种植足够的粮食喂养日益增加的人口；随着有限资源终将耗尽，这也有利于发展我们日常关注的高端产品。总之，为了提供逐渐增长人口的生活所需，太空探索是一项有意义的活动。
