While supporting various bands as a bass player, James also continues to write, record, and perform his own original country/folk-inspired tunes. Influenced by artists like George Harrison and Leonard Cohen, James aims to use music as a means to connect with the universal truths and experiences of life. In a world filled with complexity, overstimulation, and indulgence, James offers his listeners a chance to pause, breathe, and appreciate the simple beauties of our lives. Fans of James' work value the honesty and authenticity of his songs. Speaking about his latest album, he said, "I really wanted to convey a message to the world that everything would be alright."
