The Megalights Wonderland

The Megalights Wonderland covers an area of 26.67 hectares and features over a thousand colorful lantern sets dedicated to six themes: "Auspicious Dragon's Blessings", "Wenyu's Myths", "Magic Zone", "Vast Interstellar Space", "Enchanted Jungle", and "New Year Blessings", with special lantern shows and performances also planned for visitors.

Beijing International Flower Port
2024 Folk Lantern Carnival - An Age of Prosperity

This carnival kicked off on February 2 and will last until February 24. During this period, Beijing International Flower Port's walkways are lit up with 32 exquisite lantern sets. Visitors can expect a wide range of traditional folk parades with dragon and lion dances, stilt walking, land boats, Yangge (Yangko) dance, diabolo, and revolving lanterns. Unique regional gastronomical treats from all over China are also offered, providing visitors with an immersive food, entertainment, and shopping experience.

2nd Lantern Art Festival at
Beijing Expo Park

For this lantern art festival, Beijing Expo Park has set up a technology-powered lantern area to tell the tale of Emperor Shun, a legendary Chinese ruler so closely tied to Yanqing District, through seven interconnected sections: namely "Soaring Dragon", "Into the Mystery", "Totem", "Flower Rain", "Realm of Promise", "Agriculture", and "Age of Prosperity". The immersive experience will take visitors back in time on a journey to ancient Guirui, the hometown of Emperor Shun.
