A New Center Set to Debut as ZGC Forum's Venue

The ZGC Forum Annual Conference 2024 will take place in Beijing from April 25 to 29. , which was completed in January of this year, will serve as the conference's new venue.

Located at 1 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Zhongguancun International Innovation Center is designed based on the principles of technology, culture, and green development. It will function as a "technological and cultural reception room" for both global innovators and residents of the capital.
The center has fully utilized 11 green technologies such as green roofs, ground source + air heat pumps, intelligent lighting, water-saving systems, and sponge facilities, achieving a three-star green building pre-certification. Various innovative technologies are prominently featured throughout the center, including the digital conference room technology, the simultaneous interpretation system, paperless technology applications, the lighting system with automatic adjustments, and elevators equipped with the contactless button system.
The "Three Mountains and Five Gardens" - Fragrant Hills, Yuquan Hill, Wanshou Hill, Jingyi Garden/Fragrant Hills Park, Jingming Garden, the Summer Palace, Changchun Garden, and the Old Summer Palace - are iconic symbols of Haidian District. The Zhongguancun International Innovation Center, built on the former site of Changchun Garden, has integrated cultural and technological elements which have together become natural attributes of the new venue. It is reported that Haidian District will focus on Zhongguancun International Innovation Center and transform the Changchun Garden area and part of the "Three Mountains and Five Gardens" into a hub of science, technology, and culture.
