我们为什么会拍下眼前的事物?让它成为自己的所有物。苦难能成为诗意的来源吗?或者问诗意离苦难多远?

 

作者在两年前的照片档案里发现自己曾经在印度街边对着一个流浪老人拍下了475张照片,他重新观看它们,同时记录自己在这过程中思想上的变化,虽然尽量试图真实地写下最隐蔽的细节,然而,最隐蔽的始终难以打开。

 

 


Why do we photograph what is in front of us? We do so to make it our own. Can suffering really become a source of poetic inspiration? Or maybe we should ask: How far is it between suffering and the poetic?

 

Two years ago, the author discovered 475 photographs he took of an elderly homeless man from the street of India in his photography archive. He looked at these photos again and recorded the changes that took place in his mind during the process. He tried to portray details hidden in the darkest corners as authentically as possible, but in the end what was buried deeply underground refused to be revealed after all.

The Poetic

 

 

我离开的越远

The farther away I am

诗意就越浓郁

The thicker the poetry becomes

每一只苍蝇

Every fly

都是一个浪漫的字

is a romantic character

只要是

As long as it’s

隔着屏幕

on the other side of the screen

 

非常浪漫

So romantic

溃烂的恶之花

The rotten flower of evil

请 吮吸它的汁液

Please  suck its juice

我闪烁着图像

I’m flashing the image

让它显得特别点

to make it something special

我们爱上的就是

What we are in love with is

特别

Specialness

特别的

Special

特别的= 诗意

Special=Poetic

 

我在这儿停驻片刻

I’m staying here for a moment

就如同在美术馆一样

As in an art museum

有点紧张

有点不知所措

有点冲突感

A little nervous

A little confused

A little conflicted

有点同情

有点自责

有点政治

有点愤怒

有点无奈

A little empathetic

A little self-accusing

A little political

A little outraged

A little powerless

有点小资懦弱的情怀中产生的无产阶级对资产阶级的斗争意识的幻觉

A little petite-bourgeoisie is the timid sentiment out of which the illusion of the proletariat’s rebel instinct against the bourgeoisie grows

 

在我之外

异己的

异国的

异族的

异类的

异文化的

异宗教的

Outside of me

Aliens

Of Alien countries

Of Alien races

Of Alien natures

Of Alien cultures

Of Alien religions

他人的

Of others

越是悲惨的

越是娱乐的

The more miserable

The more entertaining

极度娱乐

极度娱乐

Extreme entertainment

Extreme entertainment

 

没有旁观者

No bystander

只有我的眼晴,我的视觉,我们自己的感觉

Only my eyes, my vision, our own feelings

没有旁观者

没有外在于我们的对象

No bystander

No object outside ourselves

只有难以自知的症状

只有眼光分裂者

Only symptoms we are hardly aware of

Only those with split vision

只有自私的精神分裂者

Only selfish schizophrenics

我们永远无法看到外在于自己的他者

We can never see the other who is outside of us

 

 

这位老人比我更像个人样

This old man looks more human than I am

一只飞鸟并不比一块石头自由

A flying bird is no freer than a rock

 

回到诗意吧

Come back to the poetic

诗意来自于

我知道,我他妈的随时可以离开

正如我可以随时这么接近

The poetry comes from

The fact that I know, I can get the fuck out of here anytime

Just like I can get this close to him anytime

这么近,和他在一起

好像真的介入了同一场聚会

So close, being with him

is like we have really entered the same party

我知道他不能留住我

我随时可以抽身离开

I know he can’t keep me

I can get away anytime

 

谁说这不是真正的离开?

And who can say it’s no real departure?
