**Basic introduce of Rivermen**
The Rivermen are 10k pixel characters, nowall sold out. No more Rivermen will be released for sale in a short time. Theofficial will decide whether to increase the sale according to the situation.

**About the Rivermen NFT **
The Rivermen is a kind of art collectionNFT based on the Voxel version of *Along the River During the QingmingFestival*. As a phenomenal work of Chinese culture, Rivermen has thesignificance of artistic revolution, and has great aesthetic value andcollection value.

*Along the River During Qingming Festival*is a long scroll painting depicting Bianjing, the capital city of the NorthernSong Dynasty in ancient China. There are more than 800 characters in thispainting, from country to urban of Bianjing City. Every characters in thepainting have their own stories and jobs.
Cthuwork choose 202 characters in differentjobs from this painting and made 10k Rivermen.
**Composed**
Now the mainstreaming of Rivermen NFT is tocompose a scene with the pawn.
Each pawn is a rivermen, and a scene iscomposed of several pawn.
As mentioned before there are many storiesin *Along the River During Qingming Festival*. These stories contained severaldifferent characeters. In Rivermen NFT, some different Rivermen(Pawn) can becomposed to a scene according to the story in *Along the River During QingmingFestival*.
For example, in one of many stories in*Along the River During Qingming Festival*, there are 3 different characters:a Sheep Butcher, a Prayer-Holding Hostand a House Pole-Carrying Servant. “Synthesize” means you need to find thesethree rivermen to compose this story. (I understand the official used“Synthesis” for the process, but I think “compose” might be a better way to explainit.)
There’s no official recipe released up todate. That means you need to analyze *Along the River During Qingming Festival*by yourself and find the possible scene. But we have put together all the clueson our [website](riverdao.io)
In theory, a scene contained at least onerivermen, no more than five rivermen generally.
**why we need to composed a scene? **
Bianriverse created by Cthuwork actuallyare ten full scroll *Along the River During Qingming Festival*. In eachmetaverse there is a main stage called River Mart. The River Mart will bementioned later.
In each metaverse, there are 202 rivermenwith different occupations. That means there are 2020 rivermen in all tenWhole.
According to our data, there are 6 occupationsin rivermen are the rarest. That means the rarity of rivermen are not onlyrelated to their appearance but also related to their jobs.
But there must have over 7k rivermen can'tget into those ten metaverse. So the official opened the eleventh Whole. ThisWhole belongs to all the rivermen in the 7k who can't get into those tenmetaverse and have taken part in the Synthesis. In this Whole (the 11th Whole), all the 7k will appear based on theiroccupations on a rolling basis.
All in all, the 10k rivermen will becomposed into multiple variations of 75 scenes. Several scenes will be composedinto places. And several place can be composed into several parts. Final partscan be composed into a whole scroll of *Along the River During QingmingFestival*. I supposed a place is like the hotel/teahouse etc; A part is like aspecific location on the scroll, for example, outside the Bianjing City or thecountryside of the Bianjing City.
Be cautious, each rivermen can besynthesized only once. After your rivermen are composed to a scene, you willget a new “scene” NFT, and the old ones(pawns) will remain. They will notdisappear.
**Other ways to play Rivermen NFT**
1. If you take part in a Synthesis, your rivermen will get only one placein the Bianriverse, called Rivermen House. You can decorate it with otherrivermen collections.
2. You can get into the Rivermen Mart, youcan sell any kinds of in-world NFT there.
3. If you do not take part in a Synthesis,you can also have these activity, like lottery and the Rivermen theatres.
**Rivermen Lottery**
Every moth Cthuwork will take 5% streamingof Rivermen traded from opensea as the prize.
If you have a rivermen, you will get achance to conduct a lottery. But if you have a scene, you will get more chanceto conduct this lottery. The only one winner will get 1/3 of the prize.
**An unique scroll of Along the RiverDuring Qingming Festival**
Cthuwork also made another full scrollpixel *Along the River During Qingming Festival*. This scroll will be traded inSotheby's Community. The one who get this unique scroll will get another 1/3prize of Rivermen Lottery each month.
**Other Rivermen Cultural Creations**
The last 1/3 prize of Rivermen Lottery willbe used as funds to creat other Rivermen Creations. Everyone who hold aRivermen have a chance to get these creations.
