8月17日，美国品牌蔻驰Coach发布声明，表示将尊重代言人刘雯终止合作的决定，并为此事对她造成的困扰表示歉意。
此前有人计算，按照刘雯一年150万美元的代言费用计算，她单方面解除合同将赔偿对方5-10倍的违约金，按照最低倍数计算，刘雯至少也将付出750万美元代言费赔偿，此外，再加上奖金1.05亿人民币后，刘雯或将付出1.6亿人民币的天价违约金。
不过在8月17号蔻驰也表示，从未考虑过、将来也不会对刘雯提出任何索赔要求，双方将共同妥善处理后续事宜。
此前蔻驰一件T恤将香港和台湾单独列出，引起了不少人的不满。

Later, Coach issued a statement apologizing for the design, saying “We apologize for the hurt feelings of consumers,” the statement read. “Coach is committed to long-term development in China, respects the feelings of the Chinese people, and sincerely accepts the supervision and correction of the vast number of consumers.”
