International superstar Alesso and Taiwanese pop star Jolin Tsai (蔡依林) talked about their experiences collaborating on the track 'I Wanna Know' at IMS Asia-Pacific in Shanghai.
Their discussion highlighted the importances of connecting with regional talents as a way to tap into the Asia-Pacific market and they also touched on the growing presence of EDM in the region.
The hugely popular Jolin Tsai is one of Asia's biggest selling artists, having sold over 25 millions records and is also one of the regions highest paid celebrities. Often being called 'Asia's Madonna', she was an obvious choice for Alesso.

The reason why I called my album Muse is because it’s inspired by my own life, what I see, what I heard, what I fell.
之所以给专辑取名叫缪斯，因为他是来源于我自己的生活，我的所见所闻，我的感受。

And yeah every part of what experience can be one of my songs.

But it’s such a great honor that I can be here and to bring my own favorite type of music to here and turn to introduce myself.

I think it’s so retro. It’s the instruction in the inner design. It’s really like mid-century type of style and make me want to sing opera, yeah. And it’s very very feels like home, like very small。
