The Beijing Hash House Harriers (the event marshals) have turned their archives upside down in search of the best, and most fun competitions in their decades-old beer-drinking and bar crawling history. And what they have lined up, well let’s just say; "takes guts!"

Look out for some seriously intense, but fun games; all ending with the same result - a loud rumbling burp. (Yes! We have no shame. In fact, let's make burping the norm of the day - Aarrgh!) Anyway to name a couple, there is Tug of War (beer-bucket edition), and Boat Race, where we all shout "chug chug chug chug chug chug chug chug chug chug chug chug chug chug... chug. Remember that one?

[THE BEER GAMES] are made possible by Great Leap大跃 (the plug). These are masters in the art of craft beer. And it is their desire to put your drinking capabilities to the test - by providing the booze, a LOT of it! There will be 5 delicious variations to choose from. 3 of which have been specially selected to serve the needs of the masses, by means of the new 'Drunken Hour System'.

The Drunken Hour System
By way of tradition, beer has always been enjoyed with others and in quantities. Hence the big mugs. The idea of beer alone, means letting go of all bougie (boujee) tendencies and getting it on!
What we’re trying to say is, beer should be affordable and fun!
With the Drunken Hour System, the specially selected beers will start off at the very low price of RMB15/cup. However, with each hour that passes, the price increases - not by much though- we’re on your side. (Ask to reuse your cup, the less trash we make, the better we all look!)
畅饮时光：一小时规则
按照传统，喝啤酒这项运动总是独乐乐不如众乐乐，而且人越多越好。因此，我们的啤酒杯都很大。畅饮啤酒的概念意味着放下所有矜持，尽情享受！
我们想说的是，啤酒应该是经济实惠且充满乐趣的！
在“畅饮时光”的规则中，特选啤酒将以15元/杯的超低价格起售。然而，每过一小时，价格就会上涨，但涨幅不会太大：我们是站在你这边的。(希望大家可以重复使用自己的酒杯，我们制造的垃圾越少，就能更好地保护环境）

The After Party
As with every other properly organzised shindig, there is the afterparty! After we wrap up the games at 9 pm, we are all expected to sober up and head to the next location: Great Leap Gong Ti (Sanlitun branch).
Make sure to keep your Drunken Hour wristbands on as they are the key to more discounted booze. The party continues with [houscafé]'s very own, DeantheDJ coming on at 22:30. It's gonna be a blast!
