自带黑胶（BYOV）是三年前在北京推出的第一个黑胶唱片分享活动，本周末将与 BYOV的原始家庭一起回归！ 是时候展示您过去几年收集的唱片，并将真实的音乐分享于真实的人群中了——一个投入的、由新老黑胶唱片爱好者组成的专属社区，致力于聆听，学习，钟爱。
Bring Your Own Vinyl (BYOV), which was launched as the first vinyl record-sharing event in Beijing three years ago, is set to return this weekend with the Original BYOV Family! It is time to showcase what you’ve collected over the past years and share real music with real people – a dedicated community of old and new vinyl enthusiasts who listen, learn, and love!
听黑胶唱片有一些特别之处。在128比特率mp3的时代，唱片的物理特性允许系统化的聆听。您更可能会关注制作中涉及的年代、唱片公司和音乐人，并且会更加欣赏其设计、封面艺术和唱片的品相。唱机带来了黄金时代的回忆，也经常被用作混音和搓盘的另类而全能乐器。我们邀请您体验最原始的音乐欣赏状态。您永远不会知道自己会听到什么，但是无论您听到什么，这都是历史之声。
There is something special about listening to records with turntables. In the age of uniform-sounding mp3s, the physicality of records allows for a unique listening experience. You are more likely to pay attention to the generation the label and the musicians involved in the production, and appreciate more closely the design, artwork and recording quality of the record. Turntables trigger memories of the Golden Age, and are often used as a tool for mixing andscratching, inviting you to experience a rawer form of music appreciation. You never know what you’re going to hear, but whatever you’re hearing, it is the sound of history.

下周日，6 月 17 日，我们还将与北京的现场电子音乐组织 UNICAT 合作推出非常特别的 BYOV MIXTAPE 特辑。 十名 BYOV 参与者的选曲将被现场录制到 DIY 式盒式录音机中，并当场复制成盒式磁带。 你知道的，我们努力以原始方式保存和促进物质文化，因为原始即原则！
We are also having a VERY SPECIAL BYOV MIXTAPE edition the following Sunday, June 17, in collaboration with Beijing’s live electronic music organization UNICAT. Selections from ten BYOV participants will be recorded live into a DIY-style cassette recorder and reproduced on the spot into cassette tapes. Ya’ll know we strive to preserve and promote material culture the original way, ‘cause original is principle!

As always, no matter you are a pro or a vinyl virgin, BYOV is an open and safe space for all lovers of music. Rain or shine, we play vine!

We remind everyone that sign ups for DJ slots need to be done in person on the day, so arrive or pass through early so you are not disappointed, empty slots go fast.

我们的目标是召集一个音乐爱好者的社区，一起Have Fun和交流。无论您是来这里分享知识和收藏的音乐书呆子，还是想提高技能的新兴黑胶唱片DJ，还是想轻松的欣赏音乐，这都是您无压力表达自己，并结识志趣相投的朋友的空间。
We aim to bring together a community of music lovers to have fun and communicate. No matter if you are a music nerd who wants to exchange knowledge and experience of your collection, or an up-and-coming vinyl DJ looking to improve your skills, or just someone who likes to share and enjoy, this is a pressure-free space for you to express yourself and to meet like-minded folks.

Wild Wata
Wild Wata最初在密苏里-哥伦比亚的社区广播电台KOPN 89.5 FM上做电台DJ，广泛传播根源雷鬼、Dub，老式hip-hop，放克和灵魂乐。在2016年返回北京后，她带着一台简陋的2轨控制器一起参与了许多当地的雷鬼和hip-hop演出。硕士期间进行云南雷鬼的民族音乐学研究，目前正在北德克萨斯攻读音乐人类学博士的她渴望分享自己的音乐与技术发现。
First started DJing at Columbia Missouri’s community radio station KOPN 89.5 FM, Wild Wata plays an eclectic collection of roots reggae, dub, old-school hip-hop, funk and soul. After moving back to Beijing in 2016, she gots involved in the local reggae and hip-hop scene with her humble 2-track controller. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in ethnomusicology in North Texas, she finds herself in the midst of a vibrant renaissance of turntablism and vinyl culture in Dallas. She is now learning the art of turntablism, and eager to share her musical and technical findings.
ADDJ
现居北京的美国人ADDJ 在纽约长大，他这几年在北京参加无数的活动。他第一次接触DJ，是在他的大学广播电台WXDU Durham 88.7/90.7 FM。大学四年中，曾经主持过朋克/独立摇滚表演" The Big Takeover "。回到布鲁克林后, 他用他多变的音乐风格持续吸引着酒吧和Club的观众，其中涵盖了从朋克、车库摇滚、放克、灵魂、电音、嘻哈和雷鬼的多种风格。他的爱好包括收藏黑胶, 电影和文学, 猴子。
"ADDJ was born and raised in NYC. His first foray into DJing began at his college radio station, WXDU Durham 88.7/90.7 FM, where for four years he hosted the punk/indie rock show “The Big Takeover”. Upon his return to Brooklyn, he continued to hound and pester bar- and club-goers with his particularly noxious cocktail of punk, garage rock, funk, soul, afrobeat, hip hop and reggae until they booted him out of the country. His hobbies include digging for vinyl, film, literature and monkeys."
DJ Old Pig
DJ Old Pig出生于英国，从小收到过很多不同音乐风格的影响。随着年龄的增长，他开始挖掘更多的音乐并沉浸在80年代末和90年代初到中期的嘻哈音乐中。由于痴迷于嘻哈时代使用的采样，他对音乐的理解越来越深，并且扩展到其他音乐流派。
DJ Old Pig is English born, from a young age he was exposed to a number of different musical influences, but when he reached the age of digging he immersed himself in late 80’s and early to mid 90’s hip hop. Being obsessed with the sample sources used in that era of hip hop he gained an understanding and expanded out into other musical genres.
