6.22 #工厂上新！在OAK&IRON BEER FEATURE铁橡树下过端午

如图所示，从明天起，也就是端午节，鼓楼工厂将上新3款来自OAK&IRON铁橡树的精酿啤酒。同时，来自桂林半颠的8款精酿也仍在同步出售中。

The infamous Oak & Iron, Beijings most underground  (literally) brewing establishment, creeps out of the woodwork for a one off tap showing at The Factory, three beers freshly brewed off the still await. Get down early as supply is limited.

自2018年起，我们有了创建自己酿酒工作室和酒馆的想法。历时4年独立设计和装修，2021年圣诞节开始面向客人。整个酿酒工作室的装修都是由橡木和钢制成，这也解释了“铁橡树”这个名字的由来。

Since 2018, we had an idea to opening our own craft beer brewery. We opened the bar on Christmas 2021 after Akira spent 4 years building almost everything from scratch and by hand using oak wood and metal - and that gave us the name of the brand Oak&Iron. 

从一开始在英国家中浴缸里酿的第一波酒，到后来家酿35L，65L，到现在的专业200L，花瓜，这个一生都在喝啤酒的酿酒师，2017年决定离开英国，来到中国和他的爱人Coco开启崭新的生活。他将自己对精酿的热情一起带来，希望可以将英国酒馆的文化传播并用自己的微薄之力对行业带来影响。10年全世界喝精酿+4年建造酿酒工作室，两人决定开启“铁橡树精酿啤酒”。

Starting from brewing in his own bathroom in the UK, to home brewing with 35L system, then 65L, to now 200L, Akira, the life long beer drinker, decided to up sticks and move his life to China in 2017 to be alongside his future wife Coco. He brought along his passion for beer too, wishing to spread the traditional English pub culture and hoping to make his own influence in the industry. After years of dedication to drinking  craft beer all over the world and 4 years of building the brewery, the husband and wife decided to form Oak&Iron.

使用植物乳杆菌kettle sour（煮沸锅酸化）

发酵中加入大量真材实料树莓。

我们生长在鼓楼，白天卖咖啡，晚上卖酒。有时候搞搞活动。我们热爱音乐与酒精，在每一场活动中输出属于自己的审美。

Gulou Factory is a project space which contains within its walls Tunnel Café, a  craft beer bar, Black Hole cocktail & chill out lounge and Steamed Bun Comics, Beijings first and only fully fledged comic store.
