Andrew Cole

Andrew Cole is a British painter. His work primarily takes the form of mixed media paintings which are abstract in their nature. Cole explores the impact and processes of human thinking, either as an abstract conceptual space or through the lens of history, politics, philosophy, and literature. This thinking is represented by marks on textured surfaces, which are designed to evoke natural or constructed, virtual or actual landscapes. Cole currently lives and works in Shanghai. He is widely travelled, previously living in Oman, Thailand and South Africa. His work has been shown and collected in Europe, Africa and Asia.

In her work, Shan He emphasizes the relationship of shadows in three dimensions. She uses the photographic results of appearances to convey her arguments and initiatives as a social person. She hopes that more of us can put down the mentality of lazy thinking and get to know the true meaning of everything in front of us.

Crow

CROW is a German painter, a rock musician, an art performer and a writer. His new book is released in two languages: English and German. His artworks have been exhibited in China, Japan, Mongolia, the USA, Switzerland, Scandinavia, and Germany. His paintings and art installations are passionate expressions inspired by earth, air, fire, and water - and by his wild and free spirit. His paintings are often figurative abstractions, illustrating inner conflicts, the struggle between obligations and desires. Dissolving figures try to find stability in rhythmical, formal patterns, the fragility and instability of the self is counterbalanced by geometrical structures.

Zhenya Hitrova is a Russian self-taught artist. She graduated from Vladivostok Far Eastern National University and majored in English philology. With a particular interest in languages, she can speak fluent English, Spanish, Chinese, a little French and Korean. She has been making all kinds of craft and art since her early childhood. She likes experimenting with a mixed-media drawing technique, including language marks, colors, lines and shapes. The practical experience gradually has helped her create a whimsical world of mythology full of mysterious people, fantastic creatures, enigmatic symbols and codes. However complex this world seems to be, Hitrova has managed to establish the main principle of her artistic philosophy - simplicity.

Chuo Quan

Chuo Quan, an independent artist, graduated from Guangxi Academy of Art in 2008. His creative inspirations are love, dreams, living conditions, street people, movie scenes and unexpected encounters. He often participates in public welfare activities, warms people's heart with color, and spreads love to those who need it. He thinks creating is a raw happiness, the process of creating is a beautiful exploration, a way to find self-expression. He grew up to like imagining the night sky as much as loneliness. In a corner away from the noise, he is ready for the world to blossom!

ATMAN ONE has dabbled in the world's famous works at an early age and appreciated the art of Van Gogh and Picasso. He found that Zao Wou-Ki and Rosk's pure abstracts can inspire him to seek the highest state:"ALL IN ONE". During his morning meditations, he is inspired by the energy resonance between heaven and earth; explores the mystery between the limited body and the infinite universe; realizes the Chinese ancestral philosophy and the current ideological environment. He intends to create a third culture - "Build more bridges and knock down more walls."

Richard Feinman

Richard Feinman experiences explicitly the life of an individual. He continues to examine and expand his state of consciousness and life experience that progresses towards a kind of intellectual simplification and spiritual simplification. He thinks and works on an advanced level of painting, using a myriad of different psychological aspects such as the fundamental properties of colour, colour harmonies and shape. All are apparent, but perceived and felt intrinsically by their relationships with each other. These relationships seem to create a dialog between the work, and communication between the piece and the viewer. Conflicts become relationships; line, shape and colour become friends, and opposite colours become harmonies. He paints abstract feelings and emotions. Like a mirror, his work reflects the subconscious guided by his introspection.

David Loew

David Loew is a fine art painter, photographer, illustrator, graphic & product designer, publisher, writer and a digital artist. He has been working in many creative fields, and his work has shown in HBO, MIRAMAX, PLAYBOY, WARNER BOOKS, PENGUIN BOOKS, RANDOM HOUSE, MACMILLAN PUBLISHERS, PIZZA EXPRESS, LE ROYAL MERIDIEN  SHANGHAI, 8ART HOTEL, SUMERIAN COFFEE, THE NEW WATERHOUSE HOTEL, etc. If there is a central theme in his artworks, it’s their narrative quality. This includes his early work as a realist painter, his meticulously crafted digital images and his series of haunting photographs in Vanishing Shanghai. All of these works tell stories upon his personal exploration, his relationship to the world and the human condition.

Zhu Yu intuitively creates serious art with her own body and spirit as canvas and brush, whether the way of her expression is by oil painting in her early works or by video in her later inspirational performance. All of her artworks are exploratory, either on personal struggles in the industrialization as an individual or on social phenomena that she has experienced or observed. Her speciality is to enlarge her vision of how human beings activate between nature and society, and powerfully yet subtly refine the conflicts of interpersonal relationships and social relationships in an intuitionistic form of multi-media installation art.

Zhu Yu

Daryl Bates

Daryl Bates is somehow fascinated by portraits and has created thousands of life drawings. Looking through his portraits and self-portraits, such as Self-Portraits in Toilet, in Wonder, as a Suffering Man, or as an Ugly Man, we can not only see the relentlessness in his pursuit of the development of portraiture but also the honest struggle of cultivating his technical ability. Being an artist of perfection and a man of imperfection, Daryl shows us the spirit of authenticity in the progress of making artworks - there is not always inspiration, the flows of creativity are not always smooth, the result of work has not always been great, and life sometimes can be totally draining, yet he just keeps painting and drawing year after year, with the same persistence and habit.

Irina Ideas is a Montenegrin multidisciplinary artist, simultaneously exploring painting, sculpture, installation art, music and futurism. Having studied music under internationally acclaimed pianists in Western Europe and USA, she achieves a successful career as a classical pianist at an early age, with many awards and CD records. To innovate and experiment arts, she uses a wide range of mediums such as piano, painting, sculpture, installation, performance, writing and curating. With such spirit, she continues to launch multiple projects, capturing the patterns of life that must be integral in all forms of art. And every piece of her artwork radiates intellectuality towards philosophy, history, mythology, existentialism, mystery or science.

Wang Yidi

Wang Yidi is deeply influenced by the naturalism of Chinese traditional Taoist philosophy. His works shine with modern urban brilliant colors, and the simple elegance of a vintage sense.  His keen capture of the decaying beauty is not only his respect of life, but also his profound understanding of Laozi's concept of life and death. He believes that "life in time and space ferments, flows, endless ...", in Laozi's point of view ," strong wood would break "," strong things would get old ". The so-called life, that is, the contradiction between life and death constantly permeates each other; one life disappears, the other appears. In the eyes of Wang Yidi's "microscope " angle, the existence form of cosmic life and the indomitable significance of the vitality of all things, implicitly and delicately, show a sense of time and space with the simplest and most primitive natural elements (the dying substance). His "brocade" series, whether it is a close look, a distant look, a quick look, a long look, a detailed look, a rough look, or a first impression, always brings you a strong sense of visual impact, stimulates your imagination, and at the same time obscurely reflects today's social destruction of nature after the imbalance (the ugly)—— “Action Through Inaction” .

Wang Yidi graduated from Shanghai Academy of Drama, majoring in stage art design (bachelor's degree). Having worked for Shanghai TV station, he now works in Shanghai Film Group Company, and engages in film and television drama art, photography, graphic design.

Keith Hall graduated from Goldsmiths University of London, a creative powerhouse with two centuries of educational legacy. Later he moved to South Korea for five years and returned to London for eighteen months. He then spent a year in Beijing only to find his way to Shanghai. He has now lived in this Magic City for four years. As a visual artist who draws from his life, he likes painting a new collection each year. He has work published in Vienna’s ARTBEAT magazine as well as featured work on Britart.com and Saatchi & Saatchi. He was invited by Elevate in January 2020 to give an artist talk and this May, had an exhibition Piercing The Veil at Shanghai Sino Art Space with Maxime Drouet. They are working on a new exhibition that will come out in the spring of 2021.

Maxime Drouet

Maxime Drouet received two bachelor's degrees in pure mathematics and Mathematics of Economy. He has been a teacher for a few years and taught several subjects: maths, 3D modeling, computer science, French and some English (that always makes him laugh). He came upon 3D modeling three years ago when he was looking for interesting projects to do with his students. And it so happened that, as he was learning it, he deeply fell in love with the process of creation and the infinite possibilities inherent to 3D software. It is utterly satisfying to be able to do something that looks exactly the way he wants.

Mike Clark is a British performance artist, writer, editor and a transport planner. He grew up in a house full of books and never stopped being an avid reader. He studied maths at Bristol University, but would do anything he thinks is interesting. He called himself an introverted exhibitionist idiot, but fun with it. And he can't be embarrassed or worried about what anyone else thinks. What's more, he writes from his life that needs no fictionalisation. His account of the early part of this year, "How China Deceived the World" is serialised on HeathersChamber. He is currently writing a brief autobiography. His job enabled him and his family to have lived in five continents. He now lives in Shenzhen.

FEAT

FEAT is an artist from Russia. His main focus has always been street art, such as graffiti and murals. FEAT started making it on the streets of Vladivostok, Russia. This is where he claimed to learn his first lessons of colors and composition, rather than from an art school.
