正式启动啦！！
“卓越”是启明星的核心价值观之一，发现并认可在各个方面表现卓越的学生，激励且支持他们为实现自己最高的愿望而努力，是我们设立启明星奖学金项目的初衷。
现在，面向2021-2022年入学新生和启明星在校学生的奖学金项目陆续开放，欢迎关注以下信息！我们也欢迎认同启明星教育的家庭参加开放日，走进校园！

奖学金项目介绍
一般类型奖学金
01
多元化奖学金
为提升和丰富社区在各方面的多样性，启明星设立多元化奖学金。如果你的学术足够优秀、拥有特别的生活经历、来自能够丰富社区多样性的国家或地区，都可以申请此奖学金，减免学费额度最高为20%。
适用年级：1-12年级
02
助学金
如果学生学术优秀，但确实有经济资助需求，可申请此奖学金。此奖学金最高可减免50%学费。
适用年级：1-12年级
学术类奖学金
03
学术荣誉奖学金
本奖学金用于认可和激励在学业上取得优异成绩，或本年级被评为“启明星学者”的学生。每年级将有10%学生获得此奖学金。
适用年级：5-12年级
04
数学和科学学科奖学金
本奖学金用于奖励在本年级的数学和科学学科学习中名列前茅的学生。
适用年级：9-12年级
05
人文学科奖学金
在人文学科学习中名列前茅的学生可获得此奖学金。
适用年级：9-12年级
社会影响类奖学金

创始人奖学金
这是专为小学生设置的奖学金。如果学生的言行极好地体现了启明星的核心价值观，并且在学术方面表现优秀，可成为此奖学金的获得者，每年的奖金为1万元人民币。
适用年级：2-5年级
07
许士军博士奖学金
完成了具有重要意义的社会创业项目的学生可以获得此奖学金。学生参加课堂内的决断力项目（High Resolves）或者力求改变项目（Project for Change）的表现也可作为获奖考察标准，奖金为2万元人民币。
适用年级：6-12年级
大学奖学金

启明星勇敢学者奖学金
我们为被指定的高等学府录取的学生提供丰厚的奖学金。获得此奖学金的启明星学生将连年获得大学学费全额资助。
适用年级：12年级
09
首届毕业生奖学金
优秀的首届启明星高中毕业生将获得最高100%学费全免的奖励。
适用年级：2023年高中毕业生，2021-22学年入学的11年级学生
怎样获得奖学金？
除多元化奖学金、助学金、许士军博士奖学金需要申请外，其他奖学金均由奖学金委员会按照严格的管理流程选择和发放。
另外，要获得以上奖学金，除去符合申请奖学金的要求外，学生也必须是品格优秀、行为端正，能够为启明星社区带来正面影响的学习者。

Daystar Announces Scholarships Package！！
“Excellence” is one of the core values of Daystar Academy. We are pleased to announce that an extensive package of scholarship programs is available to support and recognize students who demonstrate excellence in all aspects of their lives, and to inspire them to achieve their highest aspirations.
Scholarships are now available for incoming 2021-2022 students and current Daystar students. Full details are available below. For families interested in Daystar, you will also find information on how to learn more about us by attending an open house at the bottom of the post. Be sure to visit us and learn more!

Available to Grade 1 to Grade 12 students, with the focus on high-performing secondary school students.

Scholarship Details
General Scholarships
01
Diversity Scholarships
The Diversity Scholarship aims to increase diversity in our student community. Applicants of this category are expected to do well academically, come from an under-represented country and have a different life experience or perspective that would enrich the Daystar community. Up to 20% of tuition will be exempted for awardees.
Available to Grade 1 to Grade 12 students

Needs-based Scholarships
The needs-based scholarship is offered for students who have good academics and have demonstrated financial difficulties. Up to 50% of tuition will be exempted for awardees.
Available to Grade 1 to Grade 12 students
Academic Scholarships

Academic Merit Awards
The academic merit award recognizes students who have done well academically. Applicants must rank in top 10% of each grade level academically or be named “Daystar Scholars”.
Available to Grade 5 to Grade 12 students

Scholarships for Math and Science
This scholarship recognizes students who are top achievers in Math and Science.
Aavailable to Grade 9 to Grade 12 students

Scholarships for Humanities Studeis
This scholarship recognizes top students in the Humanities.
Available to Grade 9 to Grade 12 students
Social Changer Scholarships

The Founder's Scholars
The Founder’s Scholar recognizes elementary students who demonstrate Daystar’s core values and who are strong academically. Awardees are entitled to an award of ¥10,000 per award.
Available to Grade 2 to Grade 5 students
07
Paul S. C. Hsu Social Entrepreneur Prize
This prize is for students completing the most meaningful Social Entrepreneurship project (can be part of High Resolves or Projects for Change) . An award of ¥20,000 will be granted to each recipient.
Available to Grade 6 to Grade 12 students
College Scholarships

Daystar Courageous Scholars
This scholarship is to provide college tuition for students who are accepted by the top universities identified by Daystar Academy.
Available to Grade 12 students
09
Inaugural Graduates
The inaugural graduates award is awarded to our first batch of high school graduates at Daystar. Up to 100% of tuition will be exempted for awardees.
Available to Grade 11 students who enroll in the 2021-22 school year and graduate in 2023
How to apply for the scholarships?
Application is required for the Diversity Scholarship, Need-based Scholarship, and Paul S. C. Hsu Social Entrepreneur Prize. The granting of other types of scholarships follows a rigorous selection process by the Scholarship Committee.
Other than meeting the specific criteria, scholarship recipients are expected to maintain good academic standing and to be positive, contributing members of the school community.
