孕育一个别出心裁的项目，需要什么？
原初的创想，坚持的热情，不屈的努力，师长的提点，和小伙伴的脑力激荡——当然，还要一个可以实现这一切的地方！
9月，这样的专业性空间“社会创业中心”，将在启明星北皋校园落成，是为新学年的又一个新气象。在这里，启明星的高中学生将完成独特的校本课程——社会创业项目。
与此同时，启明星将在国内率先开启中学生学习的社会创业项目，正式站在一项全新事业的前端：
“未来，中心也会向社会开放，启动和协调种种资源，举办公开演讲，或者创业比赛……”艾毅教育集团CEO、启明星双语学校校董许尚杰说，“我们要面向社会，向更广大的人群传递社会创业意识的精髓，我们的目标是1亿人。”
影响1亿人，显然不是一座建筑所能全部负担的。由社会创业项目而延伸、开掘的资源，才是生发广泛影响的肥沃土壤。目前，启明星社会创业总监和顾问团队已然就位，他们将启用丰富的社会资源，应用专业的知识，将社会创业意识的内涵与素养传播开来。

于此，启明星的社会创业中心既是包含实体的楼宇，又将从此生长和延伸出拥有宏阔愿景和丰富内容，自成一套关心现实世界和启发、训练解决问题意识、能力的教育生态。
这套教育生态将伴随学生的成长，一步步舒展开来。现在，还是让我们通过效果图，先睹为快让社会创业项目“呼吸”和“成长”的楼宇空间吧！

所在地点：启明星双语学校北皋校区
独立的建筑——社会创业中心偏安校园西南一隅，拥有独立的建筑，也包括独立的室外运动场地。
教室里也配备最先进的高清短焦投影仪，保护视力；室内全部安装教育空间专用灯具，防频闪；全楼装备各个空间彼此独立的新风系统，防止空气串流或交叉感染。
还有一个很酷的设计是，教室里有一整面的环保书写墙。学生脑海里闪过任何灵感，都可以随手写在墙上！
这里也包括一个面积达100平方米的公共交流区，供学生做项目交流和讨论。交流区配有一幅180寸的投影屏幕。
为保证隔音，这里的屋顶是隔音吊顶。类似的隔音设计也遍布整个楼宇。交流区中间设有移动隔断，便于空间分隔，下图是隔断打开的样子。
未来，落地窗旁会布置工作台，学生可以坐在敞亮的环境里，安静地思考或设计项目。
二十一世纪的教育少不了技术手段的支持。社会创业中心也配有多个独立的电话直播间——你可以在这里录制视频节目，或是做面对面的视频直播……
创想需要来自他人的启发与共勉，也离不开沉潜和反思。于是，社会创业中心在室外辟出专供“冥想”的花园。这里将布置长椅，种植绿植，甚至添加防雨的设计，供学习者即便在雨天里也能拥有一片可以静坐、思考的空间。
最后，我们必须强调，“安全”永远是启明星为学生和老师学习工作的最优先考虑。设计人员告诉我们，社会创业中心将采用门禁系统；所有施工材料符合环保标准；室外独立的全尺寸篮球场，也应用符合国家最新环保标准的生态球场体系，软硬适度不会伤到运动者的脚踝。

What does it take to create a fresh and innovative project?
Unwavering enthusiasm, an original idea, relentless effort, guidance and feedback from teachers, collaboration with classmates, and of course, an environment that cultivates learning and innovation.
In September, the new SE Center will officially open at the Beigao Campus. An exciting addition to the new school year, the SE Center will serve as the hub for learning and innovation for our high school students to engage with the new Social Entrepreneurship Program.
This also signals the official launch of the Social Entrepreneurship Program for our secondary school students, placing Daystar Academy at the forefront of social entrepreneurship education in China.
“Taking advantage of our SE Center and other resources, we will host seminars, workshops, and entrepreneurship competitions that are open to the public here in this space”, Jack Hsu, CEO of Ivy Education Group, and a board member at Daystar Academy, stated. “We will use this space to reach out to the wider community and to raise awareness of social entrepreneurship. Our goal is to reach 100 million people with our program.”
The SE Center is just the beginning. Equipped with expert knowledge, a vast social network and resources, Daystar Academy’s Social Entrepreneurship Program team will introduce the Social Entrepreneurship Program to more people and bring about far-reaching impact to our community.

The SEP Center goes beyond being just a school building in that it is also an educational ecosystem with a broad vision and rich content focusing on solving real-world problems.
So, what will this space look like? How will it help our students’ creative undertakings? Let’s take a sneak peek from these renders!

Location: Beigao Campus, Daystar Academy
The SE Center is located in the southwest of the campus. It consists of a one-story building and an outdoor sports field.
Classrooms in the SE center are equipped with full HD short throw projector to protect students’ eyesight. The interior of the SE center is designed with a specialized lighting system for educational facilities. The whole building is equipped with DOASs （Dedicated Outdoor Air systems）that provide clean air and prevent the spread of airborne viruses.
The writing wall (pictured below) is dedicated to capturing and recording your ideas and thoughts so that you won’t miss anything!
There’s also a 100 square-meter public area with a 20 foot projection screen for gatherings and discussions.
We have also taken into account the sound factor. The ceilings and walls utilize soundproofing material and design to ensure a quiet learning environment.
There is a movable partition in the public area for flexible use of the space. The picture below shows what the public area looks like when the partition is removed.
Workstations will be placed by the ceiling-to-floor windows to ensure access to adequate natural light.
Technology is revolutionizing 21st century education. Multiple phone booths are available for students to create videos, produce programs and even live shows.
Creativity is inspired by interacting with others, but it also requires meditation and reflection on your own. With this in mind, we have designed outdoor spaces dedicated to help students collaborate as well as a garden area devoted to quiet meditation and mindfulness. Benches, green plants, and awnings will be added so that students can enjoy quiet time or concentrate on the task at hand even on a rainy day.
Safety is always our priority at Daystar Academy. To ensure the safe use of space, the SE center will use an access control system. Moreover, all materials used are eco-friendly, pollution-free and meet with the industry standards. The full-size outdoor basketball court is in-line with the latest national standards, making sure the surface texture of the court is fit for use and won’t put strain on students’ ankles or knees.
Tremendous effort has gone into the creation of the SE Center, which will serve as a hub for social entrepreneurship research and education. We believe the SE Center is yet another embodiment of one of our core values – Service. We look forward to welcoming our Daystar community to future events that will take place there.
