本周一，启明星双语学校三大校区——泉发校区、三里屯校区与北皋校区共同迎来开学日。无论是老生返校还是新生入学，我们都在他们身上看到了勇气的力量。相信这种力量与孩子在过去这个暑期的经历与成长密不可分。从这个意义上来说，每一个新学年都有着格外的仪式感。

今年开学，对于启明星社区的所有成员而言有着非同寻常的意义：

10年级的学生勇敢启航，带着他们的研究方向，投身于各领域的头部企业或创新企业，开展了为期数周的深入社会实践。开学对于他们而言，意味着收获与飞跃。（了解更多，请参见本期头条文章）

令所有启明星家长瞩目的社会创新中心终于落成在北皋校园，等待着孩子们迸发思考与行动的力量。

除此之外，三大校园都以更人性化的设备设施，更赞的教室，都等着孩子们亲自探索！

现在，就让我们一起展开了解吧！

泉发校区

启明星最小的成员们也迎来了他们的开学仪式。园长Suly和她的团队以充沛的准备迎接每一位家庭的抵达。历经一个暑期，成长的痕迹多多少少体现在这些小豆包的眼神和动作中，这些点滴进步是整个幼儿园社区的骄傲。

泉发校园也已经准备就绪！焕新后的校园有着全新的操场，可以让孩子们更自在地奔跑与玩耍。

三里屯校区

校长 Kari King 和她的团队用微笑和泡泡迎接孩子们。焕然一新的校园在清晨的阳光下闪闪发光。

树屋来啦！

当老师向孩子们介绍暑期发生的诸多升级时，孩子们对操场上巨大的树屋兴奋不已。让我们向负责校园设备设施与安全的 Leon先生以及他背后的整个团队表示感谢。他们的默默付出为我们的顺利开学保驾护航。

北皋校区

如以往一样，校长和老师们早已准备就绪，热情迎接每一位家长与孩子。执行校董许尚杰先生向每一个家庭致以问候：“欢迎回来！”“好久不见！”“假期过得怎么样？”

不需要回答，孩子们的笑容就是答案。

高中楼焕新

社会创新项目中心落成

北皋校区设施最大的变化是一座“新地标”——高中楼，未来这里也用来专门教授和实施社会创新项目。这座新装修的建筑和周围的景观代表了对我们学生个性化成长的重视与投资。这里有适合学生创意与灵感迸发的教室，以及促成协作与行动的空间。

这也将成为滋养学生改变与力量的中心。

回到校园继续学习的同时，我们也不要忘记，那一个个忙碌了整个暑期的身影！

他们整修校舍，维护设备，消杀环境，才保障学校按时开学。

As Daystar Students big and small returned to our three campuses on Monday we saw courage on display as children returned to or began school for the first time, change as children have grown and developed over the summer and were inspired by the stories of travel, service, and growth shared by our students.  Every new school year is an opportunity for new beginnings and this year is no different.

Daystar Early Learning Center

Our youngest children were welcomed by Principal Suly Li and her team of early childhood education professionals.  By virtue of their age, our youngest children often show the most change over the summer months, growing physically and emotionally. 

Upon entering the campus children discovered big changes including a newly installed field surface perfect for running jumping and rolling.  With the support of our teachers and staff, our children settled in and began a new year of learning with confidence and joy!

Sanlitun Campus 

Principal Kari King and her team greeted children with smiles and bubbles. The campus was bright, its white walls gleaming in the morning sunshine. 

The Magic Tree House！

As teachers introduced the many changes and upgrades that were installed during the summer months children were thrilled to see the incredible play structure that had been installed.  Children and teachers alike took time to show gratitude to our facility manager, Mr. Leon Wang and the entire facilities team who worked so hard to ensure everything was in place for our first day of school.

Beigao Campus

At Beigao Campus students were welcomed back by our principals and staff as well as Executive Board Member Mr. Jack Hsu.   Staff took time to greet children and parents before moving into orientation day.  The sense of excitement was palpable as old friendships were rekindled and new friendships were about to begin.

Though there were many upgrades completed over the summer including a brand-new library, the biggest addition was the new home for our high school.  This newly renovated building and surrounding landscape represent a major investment in the success of our students.  Featuring not only classrooms, but also spaces for collaboration and inspiration this building will act as a hub for developing the skills of social entrepreneurship that we seek to develop in all of our students. 

The People Who Make It Happen

It’s important to recognize the dozens of support staff who worked through the summer (and every summer) to ensure that our campuses are safe, clean, and well designed.  To all those who worked so very hard, we say thank you!
