10月23日，BASE League U/14男子足球赛在北京举行，启明星小将以4:0 拿下冠军。
On October 23rd, the BASE League U/14 Boy’s Soccer Championship Tournament was held in Beijing. Daystar’s Boy’s A Team went 4-0 on the day and won the Championship game.
三里屯校区阅读月
Literacy Month at Sanlitun Campus
阅读是启明星教育非常重要的一个方面，我们每年举行阅读月，引导全社区成员关注阅读。10月和11月分别是三里屯校区和北皋校区的阅读月，老师们将阅读和其他有意义的主题结合起来，为学生设计延续一整月的有趣活动。今天，先让我们看看三里屯校区的活动吧：
Reading is so important for students that at Daystar we orgainize Literacy Month every yeart to promote it in whole community. This year's Literacy months are October at Sanlitun and November at Beigao. Combining reading and other meaningful themes, Daystar teachers designed a month-long fun activities for students. This week let us review what happened at Sanlitun:
家长阅读 Parent Reading
热心家长受邀为孩子们读书。
Warm-hearted parents are invited to read for students.
寻宝 Treasure Hunt
不同年级的学生要寻找不同的宝贝（单词、成语），任何阅读内容都可以成为他们挖掘的土壤。找到宝贝后，孩子们需要填写表格，为宝贝做记录，包括标题（或词源）、页码、句子，然后收获“宝石”作为奖励！
Students of different grades need to find different treasures (words, idioms), and any reading content can be the soil of their exploration. After finding a treasure, children need to fill in a form and make a record for the treasure, including the title (or the origin of the word), page and sentences, and then receive “gems” as a reward!

书中人物扮演 Character Play
这是很多孩子最喜欢的一天！学生和老师们都装扮成书中的人物！
This is the most favorite day for many children! Both students and teachers dress up as characters in the book!
启明星参加国际学校风采SHOW
Daystar Students attended School Uniform Show
10月23日， “百年校服·百年中国”国际学校青少年风采SHOW在北京举行。启明星中学学生钟皓旸（Jeffery Chung）和小花（Elizabeth Asiedu）亮相T台，展示启明星学生风采。其他多所在京K12国际学校和国际幼儿园的学生也参加了该活动。
On October 23, “100-Year School Uniform · 100-Year China” International School Teenager Talent SHOW was held in Beijing. Jeffery Chung and Elizabeth Asiedu from Daystar Academy Secondary came on the stage and showed everyone how Daystar students roll. Students from many other K12 international schools and international kindergartens in Beijing also participated in the SHOW.
