* 99%的家庭会向亲朋推荐启明星学校;

* 99%的家庭对师资满意或部分满意;

* 98%的家庭认为学术严谨度进一步提升;

* 95%的家庭对课后课项目满意或部分满意。

Go Daystar!

Every year, Daystar invests in building the teaching team by inviting high-quality, competent teachers from top universities around China and the rest of the world who are passionate about education.

Upgrading the Sports Complex

The Beigao campus has expanded its sports complex with an indoor sports field that is four times the size of the original one. At the Sanlitun campus, we rebuilt the football (soccer) field to give students a more dynamic and comfortable sports experience. The Quanfa campus is continuing to expand on its playground and swimming pool especially designed for children by building a brand-new outdoor sports area that will be ready later this year. We expect to see young Daystar athletes scale new heights in the new year.

Where to Next?

As a learning community driven by purpose and mission, Daystar has always cared about the opinions of each Daystar family. At the end of the last academic year, we conducted a community-wide satisfaction survey.

Results are uplifting:

* 99% will recommend us;

* 99% are at least somewhat satisfied with our teacher;

* 98% think rigor has improved at least somewhat;

* 95% are at least somewhat satisfied with ASA program.

Interviewees also expressed their expectations for layered teaching, student participation in external competitions, Social Innovation Program curriculum, and family-school communication.

Thank everyone for giving us the feedbacks. It is the most effective way for Daystar families to help improve the community. I have presented the common questions in the data and questionnaires to the Board and the Management conferences to jointly make work schedules and resource investment plans for the next academic year. I have also individually written to 140 parents regarding your survey responses. We hope everyone can keep this positive vide in future surveys.

We are intent on fulfilling the mission of Daystar and being the top choice for families who share our values.  Last year, our focus had been (1) Social Innovation (SI), (2) Teaching Quality, and (3) Culture.  This year, based on our reflections of the data, we are continuing to focus on SI, but we will also put our effort in increasing the rigor of our academic program and recruiting great teachers.

I look forward to seeing you and our students on campus in the new academic year. Go Daystar!

Executive Board Member

Jack Hsu

Back to School+First Day of School

Among Daystar’s important traditions is the back to school event. When the new academic year is approaching, we invite Daystar families to the campus to celebrate together.

For families that attend, it is a reunion for kids after spending the summer away. For new Daystar families, it’s a great opportunity to get familiar with the surroundings and get ready to join the community.

From August 27 to 31, the Beigao and Sanlitun campuses welcomed parents and students with passion and enthusiasm! On September 1, we welcomed all students back!
