What is Our Unique Program?
Daystar is the first school in China to create a K-12 Social Innovation(SI) Program. It is designed to cultivate students into social innovators who are able to care deeply, connect with their communities, and take practical actions to solve social and environmental problems. Daystar has created a unique educational model through comprehensive SI curriculum, SI program resources, and SI events. This model allows students to feel empowered, apply what they have learned toward creating a better world, and learn even more in the process!

What Kind of Faculty do We Have?
Daystar focuses on building a teaching team that is both stable and highly qualified. Our average student-faculty ratio is 5:1, and our differentiated teaching is based on students' characteristics and learning levels. This ensures a personalized teaching experience. All of Daystar’s teachers have bachelor’s degrees, and 40% hold master's or doctoral degrees.
We have attracted exceptional teachers from around the world, including educators who have graduated from Harvard University, Columbia University, University of Toronto, University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern University, New York University, University of Hong Kong, and Peking University.

What are Our After-school Activities Like?
Daystar offers a variety of after-school classes that cater to the different needs of K-12 students. There are approximately 150 courses available, including academics, sports, arts, humanities, STEM and other important topics. Daystar’s after-school classes are primarily designed and instructed by Daystar teachers.
