The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Gabon announced in a statement earlier that the Gabonese government has allowed passport holders from G20 countries, including those from China, a visa exemption for short-term entry into Gabon, adding one more visa-free destination for Chinese travelers.
Chinese passport holders can now enter and stay within the country visa-free for a period of no more than 30 days from the date of arrival.
If they want to continue staying in the country after 30 days have passed, they will have to apply for a visa in accordance with the current visa policies in Gabon.
Chinese citizens can log in to the website of the Gabonese Immigration Bureau https://evisa.dgdi.ga to apply for an electronic visa.
Gabon is known for its vast petroleum reserves and it is one of the most prosperous and stable countries in west-central Africa.
