"Finally, A Useful New Function": WeChat Adds "Lock" Button

WeChat has released an upgrade for Windows customers running version 3.9.5. The bottom left menu of WeChat PC now contains a new “Lock” button that, when clicked, displays “Wechat for Windows locked” as a result of the upgrade.
Users won’t be able to use WeChat from the computer after clicking “Lock” in this situation.
For those who frequently use WeChat in the workplace, this feature is incredibly helpful. WeChat can be locked after you leave work to prevent snoopers from viewing your personal data and chat history, dramatically enhancing information security.
You don’t need to log out of WeChat anymore; simply click “Lock” when you need to temporarily lend someone else access to your computer.
Users merely need to click “Unlock” on the mobile device to restore WeChat to its default state on a PC.
