Crucial reminder
If you have a R visa and work in China, you must still apply for a work residence permit because your employment in China cannot last more than 90 days on a R visa. In other words, you might not need to apply for a work residence permit if you have a R visa and work for 90 days. However, you still need to apply for a work permit if you work for longer than 90 days.
