The recent case involving Chinese citizen Wang Lei, suspected of murdering his Japanese girlfriend Kojima Nanami, has garnered ongoing attention.Reports indicate that prior to her death, Kojima had expressed to the police her desire to break up with Wang, which he was unwilling to accept.On November 30th, journalists learned from Japanese police that Wang stated he was “full of anger towards her” at the time of the incident.According to earlier reports, around 11:55 PM local time on November 28th, a homicide occurred in an apartment building in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. 29-year-old Chinese citizen Wang Lei was arrested on the spot for allegedly murdering 24-year-old Japanese woman Kojima Nanami.Japanese police reported that Wang Lei stabbed Kojima several times in the chest and abdomen with a fruit knife. After being stabbed, she staggered to the bicycle parking area outside the apartment. Police found her bleeding profusely upon their arrival.Despite being rushed to the hospital, Kojima Nanami was declared dead at 2:46 AM on the 29th.Japanese media revealed that insiders disclosed the couple had a relationship previously.However, in July this year, Kojima contacted the police, stating that Wang Lei was unwilling to break up with her. Following this, the police issued a verbal warning to Wang, but the couple did not separate.Kojima had told the police she didn’t cut off contact with Wang because she didn’t want to anger him.Japanese police disclosed that on the 19th, Kojima mentioned to them that Wang wanted to meet her on his birthday, but she didn’t want to go.On November 30th, Japanese police revealed that during the investigation, Wang expressed that he was “filled with anger” towards her at the time of the incident. The case is still under investigation.
