Meet The Masters - Renaissance Art Exhibition in Qingdao

Walk 10 minutes from Tong An Road Station and you'll arrive at the Italian Renaissance, in the centre of Qingdao! At 青岛城市艺术馆 (Qingdao City Art Museum) you can experience works of the three great masters: Leonardo da Vinci, Michaelangelo, and Raphael, along with many other luminaries from the dawn of modern culture. 

Not a conoisseur? Well you have nothing to worry about, if your Chinese is good, you can scan the QR code and get some info on each  work, like its background and the artist's intent. Even if your Chinese is as deficient as mine, you can always rely on helpful volunteers like Diana (dressed in blue in the pictures) whose command of English is nearly as great as her knowledge of art. 

Find just staring at art boring? No problem,  you can make your own impression, with their interactive pieces, or even be the subject of a painting with one of their interactive pieces. The exhibition will be going on until December 10th, Tuesdays to Sundays, 9:30 - 12:30 and 13:30 - 17:00. There is a small fee of 30RMB, worth it for such a glimpse into the past.
