Kangshong face is the most stunning and least visited face of Mt. Everest east side, this trekking path is in the Chuthang town in Tibet, in the past. there were some mountaineers who tried to climb eastern side of mount Everest,but mostly climbed from north and south side of Everest.

Chomo Lhazom
There is also a 7000m height mountain called Chomo Lhazom, till now no one has climbed this mountain even though it's the second highest 7000 height mountain in Tibet. The trekking path is all with full of surprises, one minutes its all snow and then the next minutes its lush jungle of pines and the crystal clear rivers and lakes, and the wide range of wild flowers just like heaven.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day1: ARRIVE LHASA

Our guide or group leader will receive you from the airport with white Khata and warm smile and then drive to central Lhasa and take you to the hotel. Later we will meet at dinner as we have organize a welcome dinner and short talk about the tour and information and tips.

DAY2:JOKHANG TEMPLE -SERA MONASTERY

Morning we will visit the Jokhang Temple, the spiritual canter of Tibetan Buddhism, which attracts thousands and thousands of pilgrimage from all over Tibet and around the world, it was built by the great King Songten Gampo. In the afternoon we visit one of biggest monasteries in Tibet, belongs to Gelugpa or yellow sect, Sera monastery which was built in the year of 1419 by Chamchen Chojie a disciple of Tsongkapa. They are very famous in Buddhism Scriptures Debating.

DAY3: POTALA - NORBULINGKA

In the morning we will visit Potala palace, served both as administrative Centre and religious Centre in Tibet. It was built in the 7th century by Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo and later renovated by 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. In the afternoon we will visit Norlbu Lingka the summer palace of Dalai Lamas. It has huge gardens where Tibetan people like to picnic, especially during Yogurt festival time.

DAY4: LHASA - SHIGATSE

After breakfast we start the journey, head toward Shigatse which is the second largest city in Tibet. It’s also the home town of Banchen Lama. On the way we will come across the Yumdrok Yumtso Lake and Karola glacier . Traveling on the side of Turquoise Lake Yumdrok Yumtso is probably one of the most beautiful refreshing trips.

DAY5: SHIGATSE – CHUTANG TOWN

After breakfast we head toward Chuthang town, and this town is starting point of Khangshong trekking, where we hire the Yaks and porters. On the way to Chuthang we will see the Mount Everest ,Mount Cho Oyu ,Mount Lhotse ,Mount Makalu and Mount Shishabangma from a far distance. We stay overnight at Chutang town.

DAY6: CHUTANG TOWN - SHAWUTSO

Today we start our 1st day trekking and we trek around 6 hours. It will be a pleasant trekking as the sceneries are so refreshing and beautiful; you will feel the nature so close to you it will make your worries go away. We camp for the night near the small lake called Shawutso.

DAY7: SHAWUTSO-ZOGSHAM

2nd Day trekking:Today’s trekking will be unforgettable and much more beautiful then yesterday so we start our trekking right after breakfast, we will see many different kinds of wild flowers and bushes. There are also nomads with their Yaks. We will trek for7-8hours and camp at Zogsham.

DAY8: ZOGSHAM- TANGSHAM

3rd Day trekking: Right after breakfast we start another beautiful walk through the forest for half an hour and then walk through breath taking sceneries like bushes and wild flowers. This trekking will take around 7-8hours and on the way you can see Himalaya region which includes Mount Chomulhazom and Mount Makalu, Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse and forest. For the night we camp at Thangsham.

DAY9: TANGSHAM - WOBGA

6th Day trekking: After breakfast we leave raga, head to Tsoshugringma and it will take about 7-8hours. On the way we can see Mount Everest ,Lhotse, Makalu and Mount chomulhazom , we will camp at Tsoshugringma.

7th Day trekking: Here at Tsoshugrima its worth to stay one extra day as the nature is fantastic and at this point you will see the 3 over 8000m height Mountains in the world. So when you reach here its shame not to spend one extra day to explore the mountains and nature.

DAY13:TSOSHUGRINGMA-CHUTANG TOWN - TASHIZOM

8th Day trekking: Today is our last trekking day and we will trek around 9hours and after pass the Langmala our vehicle will pick us and drop to Chuthang town we will stay for the night at Tashizom.

After breakfast we will drive to the North side of Mount Everest base camp and then back to Sakya. We drive to Rongbhuk Valley, the base camp of Everest, this is the closest you get to Everest. And you will get the single best view of the world's highest peak Mt. Everest. we will stay overnight at Sakya.

DAY15: SAKYA – SHIGATSE

Right after breakfast we will head to Shigatse, on the way we will visit the Sakya monastery, which is one of the four leading Buddist schools in Tibet. Unlike the other monaster building, Sakya monastery buildings are all ash gray walls with central buildings in red colours. The structure of the build is very special with such thick pillars. The Buddhist scriptures in the assembly hall along the walls have 48,000 volumes of Buddhist teachings. After visiting Sakya monastery we head back to Shigatse ,where we will have comfortable hotels with bathrooms, so everyone can have nice bath or shower and relax after the long trekkings. Afternoon we will be visiting Tashilunpo monastery.
