Peach Festival
It's the blooming season of peach flowers again. A grand festival is taking place in the Pudong New Area, complete with fragrance, fairs and events.
A hanfu (traditional Chinese garments) parade will be held to showcase a different type of beauty, while night fairs and night parties will give visitors more reasons to stay in Huinan overnight.

Vincent van Gogh's artworks
An exhibition showcasing Vincent van Gogh's artworks using light and shadow has been launched in Shanghai.
A total of 149 works from this famous artist, including the renowned "Starry Night Over the Rh?ne" and the "Sunflowers" series, are presented by digital media. This is the first time for this exhibition to be held in China.

'YES, WE CAN'
The Miguel de Cervantes Library and Swatch Art Peace Hotel are jointly hosting an art exhibition "YES WE CAN: City, Art and Nature."

Paintings and calligraphy from Ming Dynasty
As one of the most powerful dynasties in Chinese history, the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) witnessed some of the most dramatic fusion of glories and tragedies.
"Emperor and Literati – Painting and Calligraphy from Ming Dynasty," an exhibition featuring 83 pieces and groups of calligraphy, paintings and letters of the Ming Dynasty is currently underway at Long Museum West Bund in Shanghai.

Male mermaid show
Six male mermaids at the Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park in the Pudong New Area took visitors by surprise. The show will run until this Sunday, with free park admission on Saturdays for those in costumes.

Wonders of Marquis of Dai
The "Han Infinity" exhibition is showcasing 138 sets of exhibits from the archaeological site dating back more than 2,000 years. It contained the remains of Li Cang, prime minister of the Changsha Kingdom in the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), who was also called the Marquis of Dai, his wife Xin Zhui and their son Li Xi.
It has three sections – an introduction to the noble family, a detailed demonstration of their life including wealth, food, clothing, entertainment and a depiction of their pursuit for immortality and understanding on life, heaven and the universe.
