7月17日，中国美国商会总裁何迈可携会员企业代表拜会工业和信息化部副部长张云明，双方就中美经贸关系、产业合作等议题进行深入交流。
On July 17, AmCham China President Michael Hart, together with member company representatives, held meeting with Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology. They exchanged views on economic and trade relations and industrial cooperation between China and the US.
张云明副部长表示，中国产业体系完备、基础设施完善、市场规模巨大，将为外资企业来华投资兴业提供广阔发展空间。希望中国美国商会更好发挥桥梁和纽带作用，助力会员企业扎根中国，积极参与中国新型工业化发展进程，实现互利共赢。
Vice Minister Zhang Yunming mentioned that China has a comprehensive industrial system, well-developed infrastructure, and huge market size, which provides abundant opportunities for foreign investment and business development in China. He encouraged AmCham China to continue playing its role as a bridge, and to help member companies take root in China, actively participate in the development of China's new industrialization, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

何迈可总裁表示，美资企业高度重视中国市场，中国美国商会致力于通过向中美两国政府部门建言献策，为推动改善双边关系、增进两国沟通合作贡献力量。与会企业代表均表达了在华长期发展的意愿和信心，并就具体产业政策提出意见和建议。
President Michael Hart said that US enterprises attach great importance to the Chinese market. AmCham China is committed to contribute to the improvement of bilateral relations and the enhancement of communication by offering suggestions to both the Chinese and US governments. Representatives from member companies expressed their willingness and confidence in long-term development in China, and offered suggestions on specific industrial policies.

7月14日，中国美国商会总裁何迈可携商会部分会员企业代表拜会科技部副部长张广军。双方围绕中美科技关系、中国的科技政策、在华外资企业如何更好参与中国科技发展等议题进行深入交流。
On July 14, AmCham China President Michael Hart, together with member company representatives, held meeting with Zhang Guangjun, Vice Minister of Science and Technology. They discussed topics including technology relations between China and the US, China's technology policies, and how foreign companies in China can better participate in China's technology development.

张广军副部长表示，中美科技合作始于两国建交伊始，是中美双边关系的重要组成部分。两国产业界在科技交流合作中扮演着重要角色，当前更是肩负着促进两国民心相通的使命。商会与两国政府保持密切沟通，为在华美资企业开展对华合作搭建平台，为促进两国经贸合作和人文交流发挥了重要作用。中美两国应以国际社会共同利益为重，携手应对共同挑战，为人类文明进步作出贡献。
Vice Minister Zhang Guangjun said that technological cooperation between China and the US began when the diplomatic relations established between the two countries, which is an important part of the bilateral relationship. The industries of both countries play a crucial role in technological cooperation, which is now more important than ever as they undertake the mission of facilitating people-to-people exchanges between the two nations. AmCham China maintains close communication with both the Chinese and US governments and provides a platform for US enterprises in China to cooperate with their counterparts. The Chamber aims to promote economic and trade cooperation as well as cultural exchanges between the two countries. China and the US should focus on common interests of the international community, work together to cope with global challenges, and contribute to the progress of human civilization.
何迈可总裁表示，商会致力于帮助在华美资企业向政府建言献策，感谢中国科技部提供此次深入坦诚交流的机会。商会通过发布《美国企业在中国·白皮书》、组织“华盛顿敲门之旅”等方式，倡导美中两国重建沟通机制、鼓励和重启有价值的人文交流。商会愿继续发挥纽带作用，为增进两国沟通合作贡献力量。商会会员企业代表就优化创新生态环境、支持外资企业在华开展研发创新等介绍进展、提出建议。和睦家医疗、诺华、IBM、安进、微软、辉瑞、默克、罗氏、强生、艾伯维等企业代表参加会见。
President Michael Hart expressed that AmCham China is committed to helping US enterprises in China by offering advice to the government. He thanked the Ministry of Science and Technology of China for providing this opportunity for in-depth communication. Through advocacy work including the release of the American Business in China White Paper and initiatives like the DC Doorknock, AmCham China advocates for the reconstruction of the communication mechanism between the US and China, as well as deepening people-to-people exchanges. AmCham China will continue its role as being a vital link for the American business community with both the US and Chinese governments, contributing to the enhancement of communication between the two countries. Representatives from member companies introduced their progress in optimizing innovation environment, supporting foreign enterprises to carry out R&D in China, whilst offering suggestions. Representatives from United Family Healthcare, Novartis, IBM, Amgen, Microsoft, Pfizer, Merck, Roche, Johnson & Johnson, and AbbVie attended the meeting.

7月10日下午，商会总裁何迈可携九家全球知名医疗企业代表拜会安徽省省长王清宪、副省长单向前。省长王清宪指出，在中国全方位扩大开放的背景下，安徽发挥区位、科创、产业等方面的独特优势，大力发展生物医药等十大新兴产业，已成为全球投资者关注的热土和改革开放新高地。何迈可总裁及企业代表表示，十分看好安徽的发展前景，商会将和会员企业一道更多走进安徽、了解安徽，在生物医药等多个领域推进交流合作，更好服务中国市场。
On July 10, AmCham China President Michael Hart met with Anhui Governor Wang Qingxian and Vice Governor Shan XiangQian. Representatives from nine global healthcare companies attended this meeting to discuss business cooperation in Anhui Province. Governor Wang Qingxian pointed out that with China's comprehensive opening-up environment, Anhui Province has leveraged its unique advantages in location, scientific innovation, and industries to promote the development of emerging industries such as biopharmaceuticals. Anhui has become a new frontier for reform and opening up that attracts global investors' attention. AmCham China President Michael Hart and company representatives expressed their high regard for Anhui's development prospects. AmCham China will work together with its member companies to further engage with Anhui and promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields, including biopharmaceuticals, to better serve the Chinese market.

7月11日下午，中国美国商会医疗工作组与安徽省贸促会共同举办了交流座谈会，安徽省卫健委及相关单位和省药监局受邀出席下半场，省贸促会王消帆副主任主持会议。与会代表对公共医疗服务建设、药品器械审评审批流程、医师出境培训等议题进行了专业而富有成效的互动。马琼娜副总裁表达了对安徽省贸促会精心组织会议和安徽省卫健委和药监局对本次医疗政策交流座谈会大力支持的感谢，并随后分别递送了《2023年美国企业在中国医疗行业白皮书》。
On July 11, AmCham China Healthcare Industry Group and the Anhui Provincial CCPIT jointly organized an exchange meeting. Representatives from the Anhui Provincial Health Commission, relevant government units, and the Provincial Medical Products Administration were invited to attend the second half of the meeting, which was hosted by Deputy Director Wang Xiaofan from the Anhui Provincial CCPIT. During the meeting, the representatives had professional and productive interactions on topics such as the construction of public medical services, the evaluation and approval process for drugs and medical devices, and outbound training for physicians. AmCham China Vice President Claire Ma expressed gratitude to the Anhui Provincial CCPIT for organizing the meeting and to the Anhui Provincial Health Commission and the Provincial Medical Products Administration for their strong support for the meeting. Subsequently, the 2023 American Business in China Healthcare Industry White Paper was presented to the attending government departments.

7月4日上午，中国美国商会主席华刚林、总裁何迈可率领多家会员企业代表前往中宣部拜会王纲副部长。会见中，王纲副部长肯定商会为中美经贸合作所做贡献，并表示，中美关系的基础在民间，期望商会作为桥梁纽带，继续为促进两国经贸发展和人文交流合作发挥积极作用。华刚林代表商会和会员企业代表感谢王纲副部长与大家见面，并分享了2023年度《美国企业在中国·白皮书》的主要内容以及对进一步推动中美两国经贸关系发展的意见建议。
On July 4, AmCham China Chairman Colm Rafferty and President Michael Hart led a group of member representatives to meet with Vice Minister Wang Gang at the Central Publicity Department of the Chinese Communist Party. During the meeting, Vice Minister Wang Gang acknowledged AmCham China's contribution to US-China economic and trade cooperation and emphasized the importance of people-to-people exchanges as the foundation of bilateral relations. He expressed hope that the Chamber would continue playing an active role in promoting economic and trade development, fostering cooperation, and acting as a bridge between the two countries. Rafferty, on behalf of AmCham China and the delegation, expressed gratitude to Vice Minister Wang Gang for taking the time to meet with the group. He shared key messaging from the 2023 American Business in China White Paper, along with suggestions to further enhance US-China economic and trade relations.

6月27日上午，中国美国商会总裁何迈可率领多家会员企业代表前往农业农村部国际合作司拜会隋鹏飞司长，呈送2023年度《美国企业在中国·白皮书》。会上，隋司长介绍了中美两国在农业合作方面的进展，并与每一位会员企业代表就其在华发展情况进行了深度交流。何迈可代表商会和会员企业代表感谢隋司长和国合司各位同事百忙之中抽出时间与大家见面，并分享了《白皮书》的主要内容以及对深化中美两国农业合作的意见建议。
On June 27, AmCham China President Michael Hart led representatives of several member companies to meet with Sui Pengfei, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation, at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to present the 2023 American Business in China White Paper. During the meeting, Director General Sui Pengfei gave a brief introduction of the progress of the agricultural cooperation between China and the United States and engaged in in-depth exchanges with each member company representative regarding their development in China. Hart, on behalf of the Chamber and the delegation, expressed gratitude to Director General Sui Pengfei and his colleagues from the Department of International Cooperation for taking the time to meet with them. He also shared the main takeaways from the Agriculture Chapter of the White Paper and provided suggestions to deepen agricultural cooperation between the US and China.
