Chun You has always been about being amongst nature. Now in our seventh year, we will finally take you further afield into the great outdoors…

This year, environmentalism is at the heart of Chun You — with recycled and eco-friendly materials used where possible. Each stage has been built within its own unique natural landscape. To love nature is to protect the environment.

Transportation and accommodation has been carefully planned for your convenience to and from the festival. See the details below for how to get to and from Chun You in one piece.

There will be plenty of food options available on site.

The excitement is palpable. The full outdoor experience means we finally get to have a proper, immersive three-day camping fest!

简途&春游—接驳车线路

1.去程：科学城地铁站—黑龙滩中铁梵木音乐公园

Since we are embracing nature, camping is the best way to stay at Chun You. Tent rental is available, provided by COART CAMP in our special camping zone.

Accommodation Options:

All tent rental options include sleeping bag and mattress, you can also bring your own. Water is available on site for washing.

2.自带帐篷露营 / Bring Your Own Tent

Because the rental tents are limited, you are welcome to bring your own tent to the campsite.

Birdstriking are a post-punk band from Beijing who emerged from the D-22 venue.

热地 RID

“Rid” is an ancient Mongolian word, which translates as “a mysterious and special force.” Taking inspiration from the grasslands of their native home, the band convey a vast, mysterious power, while combining reggae, improvised music and other modern music elements into their style.

尧十三

The crazy and unclear pronunciation of dialects, the roaring and shouting of mixed styles, the melodies that go straight to the hearts, it’s all a great big mess!

法兹 FAZI

FAZI’s music contains Krautrock’s minimalist rhythms and Post-Punk’s crude rituals. On the stage they are like perpetual motors making grotesque sounds, lonely and tolerant, simply and forcefully pointing to the heart.

THE HORMONES

The Hormones’ lyrics are powerful, their stage presence manic, their dance rock style produces a highly differentiated endocrine cell that synthesises and secretes chemical information directly into the blood.

大象体操 ELEPHANT GYM

Elephant Gym is a math rock band from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, founded in February 2012. The group consists of KT Chang, Tell Chang and Chia-Chin Tu. In the band name, the Elephant symbolizes their bass-driven melodies, and the Gym refers to their agile and irregular rhythms.

KAWA

Kawa are a band from Yunnan inspired by Jamaican reggae, ancient Wa Zu music and global culture.

Beijing-based electronic musician, producer. Co-founded the electronic music label Prajnasonic with Punx, VU, Far Infinity in 2016.

Influenced by traditional Eastern music, German industrialism and Bauhaus, Shao has been exploring various possibilities of sound in abstract space.

DEMONE

Founder of internet station Tang Suan Radio.
Currently the Director of Sound Blanc with Modern Sky Music.

PUNX（PRAJNASONIC）

A stranger flowing through the blood of the party, a scientific monster speaking with a synthesizer. Pure hardware live set practitioner.

HELING

Enchanting, dense acid basslines intersect with steady techno drums, full of complex modulation and controllable synthesizer voices, with the aggression of rock grooves.

KAISHANDAO

Distorted drones clash with drum heavy rhythms and rough and ready, second hand cassette cuts, using sequencers, guitar, effects and radio noise to create a kind of “lo-hifi” dance music. Kaishandao is endlessly inspired by the DIY spirit, urban hippie lifestyle and party stamina of Chengdu’s multiplex underground.

KARMASUB （PLACEBO）

KARMASUB combines classicism, borderless ideologies, environmental sound, electronic music, Oriental colours and other elements in it’s creation, trying to explore post-modern philosophy from the perspective of sound.

SUNNY W  (52赫兹)

Underground techno DJ. Sunny W has performed in many cities and his skills have been recognised by the dance floor and professionals alike.

XIAOLONG  (33 STUDIO)

His deep, professional DJ experience and love of electronic music make him a sure favourite at parties. Xiaolong has a calm, flexible style.

NEW SUNDAE

You must have met him on the dance floor. His wish is simple – to let the kind, beautiful people feel the smell, shape and melody of love.

DOTT  More Rice (TH)

Bangkok based House and Techno producer/DJ. He has released music on labels Body Parts, Oblack, Little Helpers, Whoyostro, Motek, Manjumasi, as well as his own imprint More Rice. His production style and DJ sets are drenched in a deep house and minimal flavour.

DJ OUCH

From Switzerland, DJ Ouch started his DJ career in the late nineties, later producing deep house, D&B and hip hop music. With several DJs and musicians, he founded the famous Swiss DnB group Insane Drumsounds, and began to collaborate with Urban Sound. He has also held residencies in several clubs.

HWA

HWA aka Elvis.T is known from China to Europe and South America. His solo hardware Live Set was launched several years ago, featuring an excellent performance at Boiler Room Beijing in 2016. As a 4/4 beat Techno master, his low-key rich rhythms always impress.

SLIPPER

Electronic musician, turntablist, founder of Chengdu party night Funky Wednesday.

WAHAHA  (FUNKY TOWN)

Funky Town superstar, Chengdu Magic Girl DJ. Whether it’s house or industrial, Wahaha has got the goods.

LUCA  (Syncopation)

Luca wishes to deliver progressive emotions through her music, to reconcile the world with herself and her audiences, whether it’s low-key deep house, or pure and detailed nu disco/indie dance.

POSTUNK  (Syncopation)

Focus on collecting modern fantasy dance music from all over the world on the Internet, connecting with the past and future.

Long time member of the Chengdu electronic music community, having contributed to many venues and labels as an organiser and DJ. Psytrance and techno are her thing.

Psytrance Cultural Promoter. Graduated from Beijing MIDI Conservatory of Music, he has been engaged in music work for more than ten years. Committed to disseminating Psy culture in China, manufacturing and participating in many domestic and foreign music festivals and parties.

BRAINDROP  (OCCULTA RECORDS)

Few musicians in Asia can earn high praise on four continents at the same time. Braindrop is a special case. Sumith Suresh from India is a unique and flexible producer, DJ, a power house in the Indian underground psychedelic music scene.  Since his debut in 2005, from Brazil to Singapore, the United States to France, dark warehouses, lush peaks, fashion clubs and private parties, Braindrop has bombarded  the world with his mind blowing music.

A multi-dimensional polyhedron, loves all forms of music, found pogoing all around the world at rock shows and dance parties, LET’S ROCK!

JIXIANG

JIXIANG comes from Guizhou Province in Southwest China. His unique natural landscape and living environment make him have his own understanding of Psychedelic.
