Trump’s call with Tsai Ing-wen
US President-elect Donald Trump has spoken with Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen, in a major break with Washington's policy on China, triggering protest from Beijing.
美国当选总统特朗普违反美国对华政策，直接与台湾地区领导人蔡英文通话，引发中国不满。
During Friday's discussion, Trump and Tsai noted "the close economic, political and security ties" between Taiwan and the United States, according to the president-elect's transition team.
据当选总统过渡团队称，在12月2日的通话中，“川蔡”谈及中台“密切的经济、政治和安全关系”。
"President-elect Trump also congratulated President Tsai on becoming president of Taiwan earlier this year," it said.
据称，“今年年初，当选总统特朗普也同样对蔡英文当选台湾地区领导人表示过祝贺。”

Person of the Year
Every year, Time magazine chooses a person of the year to honor for their impact and contributions to the world. The tradition began after Charles Lindberg successfully flew across the Atlantic Ocean in 1927 and was named Time's man of the year. The title would later change to Person of the Year. For 2016, the Time person of the year is Donald Trump, former reality TV personality, businessman and President-elect of the United States.

Five-year plan for intelligent manufacturing (2016-2020)
China on Wednesday released a five-year plan for intelligent manufacturing at the World Intelligent Manufacturing Summit held in Nanjing, east China’s Jiangsu Province.
本周三（12月7日），世界智能制造合作高峰论坛在华东地区江苏省南京市举行。会上，中国发布了《智能制造发展规划（2016-2020）》。
The plan, published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is a long-term strategic task to develop intelligent manufacturing to generate new growth to improve the country's manufacturing sector.
该规划由中国工业和信息化部出版，是发展智能制造、培育经济增长新动力、提升我国制造业的长期战略任务。
A “two step” strategy and ten key tasks for intelligent manufacturing are listed in the blueprint.
《规划》提出了智能制造的“两步走”战略和十大重点任务。
The “two step” strategy for promoting intelligent manufacturing before 2025 are: firstly, by 2020, foundation and supporting capability for intelligent manufacturing will be enhanced significantly, and digital manufacturing for key areas of traditional manufacturing industry realized. Secondly, till 2025, supporting system for intelligent manufacturing will be established and preliminary intelligent transformation for key sectors will be realized.
2025年之前，推进智能制造的“两步走”战略为：第一步，到2020年，智能制造发展基础和支撑能力明显增强，传统制造业重点领域基本实现数字化制造；第二步，到2025年，智能制造支撑体系基本建立，重点产业初步实现智能转型。
