The Nolans的名字或许很少有人听说过，但若提起《冬天里的一把火》，相信很多人都会知道。The Nolans是纯粹的家庭姐妹乐队，70年代中期，她们迅速成为涌现出的一大批DISCO舞曲组合的佼佼者之一，人数有时为四人组，有时为五人组。《Sexy Music》便是当时乐队赴日演出的时候唱红的，1982年由台湾歌手高凌风翻唱为《冬天里的一把火》，1987年费翔在央视春节联欢晚会上演唱《冬天里的一把火》，此后火遍了大江南北。
