青研之声 | 英语角回归——春夏之交，有花有“理”

“

谷雨时节，杨花落尽子规啼，

柳絮飞落，杜鹃夜啼，

牡丹吐蕊，樱桃红透，

时至暮春了！

When the Grain Rain comes,

the willow catkins fell and the cuckoos sing at night,

the peonies spit out their pistils, and the cherries are red.

It's late spring!

立夏将至，草深无处不鸣蛙，

小荷初放，蜻蜓点水，

槐柳始密，艳阳高照。

又是残春将立夏。

The beginning of summer is approaching,

the frogs are singing everywhere in the deep grass,

the lotus blooms its first flower, dragonfly skims over the lake,

acacia and willow trees begin to thicken, the sun rides high in the sky.

It's late spring and the beginning of summer!

正值海棠花季，

It is the flowering season of Begonia，

周总理曾说，

“海棠花好，温暖，

古朴大方，不张扬，

海棠花之间都很团结。”

Premier Zhou once said, "Begonia flowers are good, warm, simple and generous. They are not publicized. Begonia flowers are very united."
