April 9 is another busy day for Tian Wei.

Taking a long hard look at her full schedule and bidding good morning to the beautiful sunshine in Boao, Tian officially started the day by moderating the sub forum, "Future of Transportation." Participants hotly discussed key topics such as driverless cars, big data, and green fuel.

She then started to run, run and run. First run for a quick make-up. Sitting under the big umbrella and feeling the breeze was so refreshing. Tian got 100 percent energy again. Then she ran into many old friends and also got to know many new ones in the main hall of the Boao forum. Finally, she managed to run through the noise and to enjoy a peaceful moment to prepare for the studio discussion with her guests. Doing extensive and in-depth research before going on air is always Tian's habit. 

In the studio, Tian had an insightful discussion with a senior fellow from the China Institute of International Studies, Yang Xiyu, and Nicholas Lardy from the Peterson Institute on the ongoing trade frictions between China and the US. How to pursue open global markets against the current economic backdrop is a question many experts and scholars are pondering on. Following this, Tian talked to John Chen, thenCEO of Blackberry, about innovation in the hi-tech sector. They also talked about what kind of business environment is needed for the prosperity of global trade. 

It's noon already. Instead of running to the dinning hall for lunch, Tian rushed into the crowd, trying to gain wisdom from more Boao participants. See! She met Li Yan, the coach of the China short track speed skating team. They sat down and talked about the PyeongChang Winter Olympics and Team China's future.

So you may guess that Tian should be tired after all the tasks done. But, sorry! You are wrong. She runs again in her brisk and confident steps. She has to prepare for another talk. A talk between the founder of Alibaba Jack Ma and IMF chief Christine Lagarde. What kind of wise and inspirational dialogue these two elites have? Tian wonders. Yes. She has tons of questions and she keeps asking.
