真·宫斗!为了口红,两个“故宫”杠起来了……

这两天,故宫上演了一场真“宫斗”。12月9日,故宫旗下“故宫文创”率先推出了一套口红文创产品,一夜爆红;谁想就在两天后,旗下另一家“故宫淘宝”也紧接着官宣了系列口红和其他美妆。相似的创意和设计不禁引发了网友对两家品牌“嫡庶”之争的热议。

一支口红 一场战争


12月9日,一篇文章“故宫口红,真的真的来了!”在社交媒体刷屏,故宫正式进军美妆界的消息如平地惊雷,炸出了无数翘首以盼的文创粉丝们。



然而,就在无数人准备剁手抢购之时,“故宫”却又辟谣了??


“故宫淘宝”于晚间发布微博称 —— “目前市面上见到的所有彩妆并非我们所设计。来自故宫淘宝的原创彩妆,我们周二见。”


On December 9, the Palace Museum Cultural and Creative Store officially launched the first-ever set of lipsticks themed on Chinese national treasures.


The limited edition “royal” lipstick range has six different shades, inspired by China’s ancient porcelain and jewelry treasures. 


许多人后知后觉地发现,原来推出口红的品牌叫“故宫文创”而非广为人知的“故宫淘宝”。这下大家都迷糊了。“故宫口红”到底是不是故宫出的?为什么有两家“故宫”都在做口红? 


看着“非官方”的质疑不断发酵,“故宫文创”在12月10日又发声了,官宣口红是故宫和华熙生物联名的产品,绝非山寨。


到底该买哪家口红?到底谁才是真的“故宫原创”?网友在社交媒体上乱战成一团,一场大战就此点燃……


The news went viral soon after the release, leaving many netizens thrilled. However, the big success was soon overshadowed by rumors wondering if the lipsticks were fake, as another store, the Palace Museum's Taobao, denied their "authenticity" on Weibo. 


"The cosmetics on the market were not designed by us. The original cosmetics by the Palace Museum's Taobao will be released on Tuesday,” the post read. The store then launched its makeup line just one day later. The edition also includes lipsticks in six different colors. 


The ambiguous post was fired back by the Palace Museum Cultural and Creative Store, defending its "authenticity" through another news release with quotes from state-owned news pieces. 


“嫡庶之争” 谁才是正统?


热烈的吃瓜过后,大家终于有了比较一致的共识 ——“故宫文创”和“故宫淘宝”两个品牌都是故宫的亲儿子,并没有一方山寨另一方的问题。从企业性质来看,“故宫文创”比“故宫淘宝”更为正统,但“故宫淘宝”成立更早,也更有名。

对此,“故宫淘宝”在周三回应了这场口红宫斗,称两支团队独立运作、各自研发,之前“周二见”的言论并不针对“故宫文创”,算是给双方握手言和制造了台阶。

After several days of hot debates, people realized that both stores are officially owned by the Palace Museum. The Palace Museum's Taobao has responded to the drama on Wednesday, stating that their earlier post was not trying to provoke a war. The two stores were run independently. It was a coincidence that the cosmetics were being released at the same time. 


"Two sons of the Palace Museum are fighting for the throne!” netizens concluded, adding that "The drama is totally the same as Aquaman."
