世卫组织：6种新冠疫苗进入三期临床试验阶段，3种来自中国

世卫组织卫生紧急项目负责人迈克尔·瑞安表示，目前全球约有165种疫苗处于试验阶段；26种进入临床试验阶段；6种已处于三期临床试验阶段，其中3种来自中国。

Six COVID-19 vaccine candidates, including three from China, have entered phase-3 trials, a senior World Health Organization (WHO) official said on Thursday. 

The three Chinese candidates are from Sinovac, Wuhan Institute of Biological Products/Sinopharm and Beijing Institute of Biological Products/Sinopharm, said Michael Ryan, executive director of the WHO Health Emergencies Program, at a virtual briefing. The other three are made by the University of Oxford/AstraZeneca, Moderna/NIAID and BioNTech/Fosun Pharma/Pfizer, he added.

In total, 165 vaccine candidates have started some forms of trials, and 26 of them in clinical trials, according to WHO records.

他表示，短期内取得这样的成果是难以置信的，接下来就是要确保疫苗安全有效。三期临床试验将展开大规模测试，世卫组织希望将有更多候选疫苗进入三期临床试验阶段。

The vaccines will be put into the general population for the first time in phase 3, after previous trials have focused on safety, immunogenicity and immune response in a small number of humans, said the WHO official. The phase-3 trial will test whether the vaccines can "protect large numbers of people over a prolonged period of time."

瑞安也指出，疫苗进入三期临床试验阶段并不意味着研发快要成功。三期只意味着疫苗将首次被投放到更多健康民众中进行试验，以观察疫苗是否能够保护他们免受天然感染。

However, "phase-3 doesn't mean nearly there," he said, as "there is no guarantee that any of these six will give us the answer."

世卫组织总干事谭德塞则表示，在加速疫苗研发的同时应确保公平分配，让负担不起疫苗费用的人群也能得到疫苗。他指出，这需要全球共识，让疫苗成为全球公共产品。

Economic recovery around the world could come faster if any COVID-19 vaccine is made available to all as a public good, said WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

谭德塞强调，这是一项政治选择和承诺，需要政治领袖做出决定。“‘疫苗民族主义’没有好处，不会起到帮助”，他说。

“只有全球一起恢复，才能更快恢复，因为这是一个全球化的世界。”

"Sharing vaccines or sharing other tools actually helps the world to recover together. The economic recovery can be faster and the damage from COVID-19 could be less," he said.

"Vaccine nationalism is not good, it will not help us," he pointed out, adding "For the world to recover faster, it has to recover together because it's a globalized world."
