驻美大使崔天凯：美国出“新疆牌”是为打压中国
北京时间3月26日，针对近日发酵的“新疆棉”事件，中国驻美大使崔天凯在接受白岩松采访时表达了看法。
就H&M、耐克等国外企业抵制新疆棉花引发中国民众愤怒，并出现自发抵制行为，崔天凯表示，中国消费者有权决定自己买什么，不买什么。这些跨国企业的做法已经打乱了市场规律，“如果他们服从于一些利益集团的特殊需要而这么做，很危险，他们要想好这对世界经济、对自己公司意味着什么”。
对于美国不惜虚构内容来打“新疆牌”的做法，崔天凯则表示，这背后实际上反映了美国和其他有些国家，一些政治势力想要遏制中国、分裂中国、打压中国的企图，所以他们才不惜工本、没有底线制造了很多很荒唐的谣言，利用他们在世界上的话语权到处散播。
In an interview with China Media Group (CMG), Cui said the U.S. side has misread China's development goals as well as the current global trend toward multilateralism. He said the U.S. policymakers were aware that the U.S. needed to cooperate with China, but they were also worried that China would overtake its "leading position" in the world.
Cui said that no country is willing to pick sides between China and the U.S., and China wouldn't require any country to do so. However, he cautioned countries not to take the wrong approach when dealing with China, which is coming together as alliances to contain or crack down on China.
The ambassador also criticized certain multinational corporations that were trying to disrupt market operations and the international supply and industrial chains to meet the demands of some interest groups. Such a move will be a "dangerous precedent," warned Cui.

China's Ambassador to the U.S., Cui Tiankai spoke with CNN's Christiane Amanpour on CNN International.
Amanpour showed Cui part of a CNN-produced segment purporting to show how China was behind the detention and separation of Uygur children who tried to flee Xinjiang to reunite with their parents in Italy.
Cui called the news organization's reporting 'immoral'. Cui denied claims of genocide against the Uygur Muslims in China, saying that some journalists go into the story with their own bias.
Cui reiterated that the problem of terrorism has been completely wiped out in an area where just years ago hundreds of attacks took place.
实际上，部分外国媒体在涉疆报道上编造假新闻，已经不是什么新鲜事了。通过诱导提问、移花接木等编辑手段来“制造”报道，抹黑中国，更是它们的“常规操作”。
前有BBC使用具有误导性的老照片，意图污蔑新疆人民被“强迫劳动”，后有CNN伪造身份，意欲借助无辜新疆儿童大做文章。
CNN在3月19日发布的一篇报道中，称来自新疆的马木提被中国政府强制与其妻子、孩子分离5年之久。在采访过程中，CNN记者罔顾客观事实，利用儿童对父母的感情骗取信任进行诱导提问，得出“中国政府不让孩子与父母团聚”的荒谬结论。
对此，CGTN记者前往新疆喀什，找到了马木提的女儿穆合丽萨，还原了事件真相。
In a recent report, CNN claimed that China's "crackdown" in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has separated thousands of children from their parents. To prove the allegation, CNN reporters interviewed a man from Xinjiang, who now lives in Australia, and claimed that he hadn't seen his children for many years because of China's "sweeping government crackdown against Muslim minorities."
Soon after CNN's report, CGTN interviewed the man's two children and his parents. It turned out that the report was misleading and the allegations were baseless. Now the family's only wish is to see the man return home.
回顾之前他们多篇关于新疆的报道，我们可以发现，这些媒体炮制假新闻的手段看似“花样百出”，实则换汤不换药，画风也如出一辙。
它们不去关注万千安居乐业，生活幸福的新疆家庭，反而通过提前预设好故事框架，再有意寻找符合杜撰的“完美受害者”，并配合一些“惯常伎俩”：闪烁的镜头、昏暗的画面、阴沉的背景乐，企图构筑出一副新疆生活的“悲惨图景”，以此大肆炒作，污蔑中国。
然而，脱离真相的报道无论多么“耸人听闻”，最终也不过是一个没有灵魂、漏洞百出的“故事”罢了。
