北京时间7月29日，中国选手张雨霏在奥运会女子200米蝶泳决赛中，为中国队拿下一枚金牌。这是中国游泳队本届奥运会首枚金牌，也是中国代表团在本届奥运会获得的第13枚金牌。

北京时间7月26日，东京奥运会游泳女子100米蝶泳决赛，中国选手张雨霏以55秒64获得亚军，以0.05秒之差负于加拿大选手麦克尼尔。

随后女子200米蝶泳决赛中，张雨霏调整好心态，顶住压力，为中国游泳队获得首金。

比赛结果固然重要，更重要的是战胜自己。

Chinese swimmer Zhang Yufei had a convincing victory in women's 200-meter butterfly at the Tokyo Olympic Games on July 29. It was her first and China’s 13th gold medal at this year’s Olympics. The result of the game is important, but it is more important to conquer and overcome oneself.

东京奥运会体操项目男子全能决赛于当地时间28日结束，中国选手肖若腾以88.065分获得银牌。另一位中国选手孙炜以87.798分位列第4。日本新星桥本大辉凭借单杠上的表现完成逆转，以88.465分获得冠军。

由于肩部伤病，肖若腾赛前吃了四片止疼药。日前男团决赛中，他依靠打封闭坚持比完了六个单项。

“今天比赛困难很多，我拿出了近三年来最好的表现，已经超水平发挥了。我对自己很满意，这算是给我自己和关心我的人一个交代。”

中国体操队副领队叶振南：“今天从发挥来说，每一项都是发挥得很出色，不过打分项目就是这样。我们运动员已在场上展示了不服输的精神，也展现了中国体操的精湛技术。对待最后的结果，肖若腾也表现很大度，向桥本大辉和纳格尔内都表示了祝贺。”

On July 28, China’s Xiao Ruoteng competed in the rings competition of the artistic gymnastics men's all-around final.

Japan’s 19-year-old Daiki Hashimoto edged China's Xiao by 0.4 points to claim the title with 88.465 points. Russian Olympic Committee (ROC)'s Nikita Nagornyy settled for the bronze with 88.031 points. Xiao's teammate Sun Wei was ranked fourth with 87.798 points.

Xiao topped the competition after three rotations, delivering outstanding performances in floor exercises, vaults, and rings on an average of 14.644 points. He continued to lead the rankings after parallel bars, but with a gap of 0.867 points to Hashimoto in the horizontal bar, Xiao eventually settled for a silver medal.

"I feel that I did well today, and I am pretty satisfied with my performance. This medal is really big for me. It's a result of what I have worked for up until now," said Xiao.

"There are a lot of adverse factors, like my old injuries, but today's game is still important to show my best side," he said.

Ye Zhennan, deputy leader of the Chinese gymnastics team said, "Our athletes have shown their spirit on the field, and also demonstrated the exquisite skills of Chinese gymnastics." Xiao also congratulated Hashimoto for his performance.

北京时间26日晚，在东京奥运会乒乓球混双决赛中，中国的许昕/刘诗雯组合3比4负于日本的水谷隼/伊藤美诚，获得银牌。

赛后，两人接受了总台采访，刘诗雯情绪一下子绷不住，眼泪夺眶而出，哭着说对不起大家，许昕一直强调输球的责任在自己身上。

虽然有遗憾，但奥运健儿们依然是我们的骄傲。

选手因没拿到金牌泪洒赛场、道歉，获网友温暖鼓励。奥运竞技场上，选手比拼实力和心理承受能力，我们每个人则在比拼看比赛的态度。

理性和包容让体育竞技回归初心，也显得更有人情味，享受体育竞技带来的快乐，才是奥运精神所在吧？

Chinese duo Xu Xin and Liu Shiwen claimed the silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics table tennis mixed doubles event on Monday, narrowly losing to Japan's Jun Mizutani and Mima Ito.

Xu and Liu both called their defeat "unacceptable" during the post-match press conference.

Xu and Liu teamed up in 2018, pocketing multiple medals at world-class tournaments. The pair has experienced a turbulent time after Liu suffered an elbow injury at last year’s German Open.

The athletes shed tears and apologized for not getting the gold medal, and received warm encouragement from netizens. They gave it all in the arena and their sportsmanship was evident.

"Victory and defeat are both common in battle," Xinhua News Agency commented, encouraging Chinese players to struggle hard with confidence. CCTV also called on the people to have a rational view of victory and defeat and enjoy the Olympics.
