上海本土新增“2494+16407”，两区首日达到社会面清零目标

上海市卫健委20日通报：4月19日0—24时，上海新增新冠肺炎本土确诊病例2494例和无症状感染者16407例，其中533例确诊病例为此前无症状感染者转归，1800例确诊病例和16178例无症状感染者在隔离管控中发现，其余在相关风险人群排查中发现。

昨天，上海市本土确诊病例出院1682例，无症状感染者解除集中隔离医学观察25411例，他们将返回居住地接受健康监测。昨天出院出舱人数27093例，出院出舱人员持续增加。

Shanghai recorded 2,494 confirmed locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases and 16,407 asymptomatic cases on Tuesday, the Municipal Health Commission said on Wednesday. 

Meanwhile, officials report that 1,682 patients have been discharged from hospitals and more than 27,000 asymptomatic cases have been released from quarantine.

4月19日新增本土死亡病例7例，其中60岁以下2人，合并有晚期肺癌、胸腔积液、急性的冠脉综合征，70岁以上5人，合并有冠心病、心力衰竭、高血压、糖尿病、尿毒症、脑梗死、晚期的胰腺肿瘤等严重的基础性疾病。其中有2人接种过新冠肺炎病毒疫苗，其余未接种。上述7人入院后病情加重，经抢救无效死亡，直接死亡的原因均由基础性疾病导致。

Shanghai reported seven COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday, bringing the death toll in the city's latest outbreak to 17. The authorities said the patients all had underlying conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes and hypertension.

两区首日达到社会面清零目标

4月20日，上海市召开新冠肺炎疫情防控新闻发布会，介绍疫情防控最新情况。

市卫生健康委一级巡视员吴乾渝在会上通报，上海市疫情近几天呈下降趋势。单日新增报告100例以上的街镇已连续3日降低，社区扩散得到有效遏制。浦东、闵行、松江、青浦和普陀等5区近3日疫情总体呈持续下降趋势。徐汇、杨浦、虹口、长宁、宝山和嘉定等6区疫情总体处于平台波动状态；黄浦区疫情仍在小幅上升，静安区疫情上升趋势趋缓。奉贤、金山和崇明等3区疫情持续低位，金山区和崇明区首日达到社会面清零目标。

The Shanghai authorities held a press conference on Wednesday to provide an update on the latest COVID-19 prevention and control situation.  

They said that the epidemic in Shanghai has been trending downward in recent days, and that community spread has been effectively contained.

最新“三区”划定 封控区涉及人数减少400万

吴乾渝表示，最近几天，上海聚焦重点、分区分级，对封控区、管控区、防范区实施了检测筛查。昨天（19日），根据阶段性筛查结果，动态调整了“三区”划定，划定了封控区16650个，涉及1187.8万人，比之前首次划定的减少了400多万人；管控区13304个，涉及448万人，增加人数超过200万人；防范区28075个，涉及785.6万人，增加人数超过200万人。

Shanghai has recently carried out phased screening tests in lockdown, control and precaution areas. Based on the results, the local authorities designated 16,650 areas for lockdown yesterday, affecting 11.878 million people, 4 million less than the initial designation. 

本轮疫情阳性感染者中60岁以上老年人占比近20%

上海在本轮的疫情当中阳性感染者当中，60岁以上的老年人的占比将近20%，其中80岁及以上的老年人占比将近2%。截至目前，上海市60岁及以上老年人群疫苗接种率62%；加强免疫接种率38%，总体来讲，接种率还是比较低。

Nearly 20% of COVID-19 patients in Shanghai are above the age of 60, local authorities said on Wednesday.

As such, they called for Shanghai's elderly to be vaccinated, as the rate for that cohort stands at a relatively low 62%.

制造业复工复产

日前，上海市经信委发布《上海市工业企业复工复产疫情防控指引（第一版）》，公布第一批666家复工复产的重点企业，涵盖集成电路、汽车制造、装备制造、生物医药等重点行业。

在首批复工复产的企业中，汽车产业链公司公司占到了近40%，其次是药企和化工企业。

Manufacturers in Shanghai have begun to resume production despite the city's strict COVID-19 control measures.

China recently named the first 666 firms in Shanghai that are eligible to reopen, many of which are in the manufacturing sector, including carmakers, chipmakers and pharmaceutical firms.

Nearly 40% of this first batch of companies gearing up to resume operations is in the automotive industry, followed by pharmaceutical and chemical firms.

These urgent restarts stem from the importance of the city's manufacturing sector to its economic growth. In 2021, Shanghai's industrial added-value accounted for nearly a quarter of its municipal GDP.
