王冠：“美洲峰会”已沦为“美国及其盟友峰会”

美国召开的美洲峰会在洛杉矶开幕，三分之一的美洲国家首脑没有来。CGTN主持人王冠认为，“美洲峰会”俨然已经成了“美国及其区域盟友峰会”。美国有80%的非法移民来自墨西哥，而墨西哥总统却没有参会。古巴是拉美唯一自主研发出新冠疫苗的国家，却被拜登拒之门外。美国还将峰会视作对抗中国在该区域影响力的机会。王冠指出，老牌殖民帝国是用坚船利炮敲开拉美大门，而中国是通过国际经济法则在拉美进行着互惠贸易。

In this episode of Reality Check, CGTN anchor and former chief U.S. correspondent Wang Guan believes that the Summit of the Americas has descended into the Summit of America plus its regional friends. Wang argues that China's growing influence in Latin America is obtained not through military conquest but by laws of economics.
