45岁的面包师戴安娜·塞利奇（Diana Selic）正努力使自己的味觉和嗅觉恢复正常。她来自塞尔维亚，已经在法国生活了23年，现在在里昂拥有一家面包店。2021年夏天，她在黑山布德瓦市不幸感染了新冠病毒，其后遗症包括嗅觉失灵以及味觉改变。由于至今尚未完全康复，她在工作中深受这些症状的困扰，而且也无法享受她喜欢的食物。

“闻不到食物的味道，这让我无法忍受。”戴安娜6岁开始学习烹饪，而现在她却不知道该如何烹饪食物了。“我别无选择，只能‘重新教育’我的大脑，但这绝非易事，”面对CGTN拍客，她讲述了自己作为面包师是如何在嗅觉失灵的困境中苦苦挣扎的。

Diana Selic, 45, is struggling to restore her sense of taste and smell. The Serbian-born, who has lived in France for 23 years, owns a bakery in the city of Lyon. In the summer of 2021, Selic contracted COVID-19 in Budva, Montenegro, leaving her with a loss of smell and an altered sense of taste. She still hasn't fully recovered. The symptoms have impeded her work as a baker and her ability to enjoy the foods she loves.

"It's unbearable for me to not be able to smell," Selic said. She has been cooking all her life, but now she doesn't know how to do anything right. "There's not much that I can do except try to re-educate my brain, which is not an easy task."
