道明竹编是国家级非遗，也是中国地标产品，曾在上世纪八九十年代销往全国乃至全世界。后来因为现代工业品的发展逐步替代了竹编制品，道明竹编曾一度没落。杨隆梅出身竹编世家，原本在民航系统工作，因为2013年一场大火将家中竹编厂尽数烧毁，毅然决定返乡继承家族的手艺。她在努力学习和继承传统手工艺的同时大胆创新，设计生产出符合市场需求的竹编制品，使得家族手工艺得以发扬光大，自己也获得省级非遗传承人的称号。现在她也在努力培养自己6岁的女儿成为下一代传承人。
Daoming Bamboo Weaving is a national cultural heritage as well as a geographical indication product, sold domestically and abroad during the 80s and 90s. However, due to modern industrial upgrades, bamboo products were gradually replaced, leading to local economic decline.
Yang Longmei, born to a family of bamboo weavers, used to work in civil aviation until a fire destroyed her family's bamboo workshop in 2013. She decided to come back and take over the family business. While studying the traditional technique, she designed and produced innovative products based on the current market trends. Not only has she managed to keep her family traditions alive, but she also became a cultural heritage inheritor. Now, she's readying her 6-year-old daughter for a future career like hers.
