Looking for a caffiene buzz to power you through the day but don't know how to properly order a coffee in Chinese?
Sure, you could just head to a Starbucks where everyone speaks excellent English. But what about all the hip boutique coffee shops you're missing out on?
No worries, we have you covered. Here are all the keywords you need to know.
Americano – 美式咖啡 – měi shì kā fēi
Latte - 拿铁 – ná tiě
Mocha – 摩卡 – mó kǎ
Espresso – 浓缩咖啡 – nóng suō kā fēi
Cappuccino – 卡布奇诺 – kǎ bù jī nuò
Caramel Macchiato – 焦糖玛奇朵 – jiāo táng mǎ qí duǒ
Flat White – 白咖啡 – bái kā fēi
Sugar – 糖 – táng
Cream – 奶油 – nǎi yóu
Milk – 牛奶 – niú nǎi
Foamed Milk – 泡沫牛奶 – pào mò niú nǎi
Hot – 热 – rè
Iced – 冰 – bīng
FYI, "杯" = cup.
Small – 小杯 – xiǎo bēi
Medium – 中杯 – zhōng bēi
Large – 大杯 – dà bēi
Extra Large – 特大杯 – tè dà bēi
