Expat Life Made Easier with New Services from Exit and Entry
The Shenzhen Exit and Entry Administrative branch of the municipal public security bureau has just launched 3 new types of services for foreigners, including certification of lost foreign passports! Applicants no longer need to submit paper-based material and instead should log in to the 'civic livelihood police platform' (http://www/szga.gov.cn), apply online, and wait for the approval. After review, if there is any violation of the provisions by the Law of the People's Republic of China on Exit and Entry Administration, these 3 convenient services will not be accessible.

Birth registration of overseas personal infants born in China can be applied for online.
In order to make the application process 'hassle-free' and ‘material-free’, applicants can apply online (szga.gov.cn) by filling out forms and uploading the images of relevant materials.
Step 1: Log in at www.szga.gov.cn, and then click 'FOREIGNER'.
Step 2: Click 'Application for registration of a newborn child in China'.
Step 3: Fill the ''Application agreement - Application for registration of a new born child in China.

Certification for lost foreign passports can be applied for, examined and approved online.
The Exit and Entry Bureau has worked on and launched a 'one-time application' so that you only need to show up once. Applicants just need to fill a form online (szga.gov.cn) and upload the images of relevant materials. Applicants only need to go to the Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau to receive their certification for lost foreign passport.
Step 1: Click 'FOREIGNER'.
Step 2: Click 'Application for reporting the loss of passport'.
Step 3: Click 'Agree'.
Step 4: Fill out the form - Application for Reporting Loss of Passport.
Step: 5: Click 'Confirm Submit'.

Household registration of Foreign-born children of Chinese nationality and children born to residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can be applied for, examined, and approved online.
Fill forms and upload the images of relevant materials online (szga.gov.cn), which just needs 7 working days for approval. And applicants just need to receive the Household registration notice on spot.
Step 1: Click '个人业务'.
Step 2: Click '更多'.
Step 3: Click '定居入户'.
Step 4: Click '加入中国国际人员定居入户'
Step 5: Tick '我已阅读' and click '我已阅读并同意'.
Step 6: Tick '我已阅读' and click '我已阅读并同意'
Step 7: Click '是'
Step 8: Tick '本人或亲友的房产落户' and click '下一步'.
Step 9: Fill out the form and upload the images of relevant materials.
