Hot Water Helped These Women Shave Decades off Their Looks!

Suki C GuideinChina 2018-10-03

There have been many speculations as to why Asians tend to look younger than they really are. Are they hiding some kind of 'frozen age’ secret?

People outside Asia have become obsessed with trying to figure out how to shave a few years off their look, especially when you’ve got girls like the “goddess with frozen age” from Taiwan popping up on the internet.

Report from Daily Mail

Lure Hsu is a Taiwanese design and famous blogger. Have a look at some of her photos and try to guess how old she actually is.

Guess how old she is based on the pictures below:

Flawless skin.

Fashion and cute dressing style.

The woman, who also boasts a toned body, has been referred to as 'the goddess with a frozen age'.

This girl looks like a college student, when in fact she’s celebrating 43rd birthday. SHE’S 43 YEARS OLD! WHAT?! Netizens from all over the world nursed jealousy against her external youthful age.

While we can presume genetics have played a big part in Hsu's impossibly-youthful appearance, everyone still wants to know her skincare secrets – which she shared with a magazine.

41 years old at the time, Lure revealed that the key to youthful looks is to drink plenty of water and eat tons of vegetables, less sugar, exercise, and avoid exposing your skin to the sun too much. She believes sunscreen is important as “sun-bathed skin is drier and makes  small spots and small fine lines easier to appear." Ergo sun damage – which we know accelerates aging.

Foreign netizens have shown interest in curiosity over how she’s been able to maintain such looks:

Foreign netizens have shown interest in curiosity over how she’s been able to maintain such looks:

36-year-old Sharon Hsu may be just a few years younger than her sisters, but she looks like she’s in high school. She works as a model and is, unsurprisingly, a celebrity in Taiwan.

Exactly. The key is having the right genetics.

Just when people were starting to come to terms with the fact that Lure Hsu is actually in her 40s, photos of her sisters and mother started blowing up all over Taiwanese media, and everyone lost their minds once again. The four Hsu women are now being called “the family of frozen ages” by the media in their country, while some people claim that they must be descendants of vampires. Truth be told, they do all look suspiciously young for their age.

Their mother is a retired dancer and can be easily mistaken for their sister.

Meet the 63-year-old mom (middle) and her daughters Lure Hsu, 41 (right) and Sharon, 36 (left).

According to these women, the secret to youthful looks is simpler than you could ever imagine – water!

She even emphasized on using proper moisturizer for the skin. “Once your skin has enough water, you don’t even need to worry about aging and wrinkles,” she said.

The family follows this tradition of drinking loads of water, especially a glass of lukewarm water every morning.  “I have been doing that for more than a decade,” Fayfay said. “I drink 350ml to 500ml.”

So there you have it, folks! If the Hsu sisters are to be believed, the key to eternal youth is a combination of great genes and lots of water. Otherwise, it hard to convince us that we both drink water, but Hsu's family owned 'frozen age'.

Chinese hot water is powerful, when you ask a Chinese person with a hot thermos why he or she drinks hot water, the answer is usually "it's better for your health."

According to ancient Chinese medicine, drinking a glass of warm water in the morning helps kick-start the digestive system. Hot water and warm water, because of its temperature, supposedly aids blood flow. As your blood circulation increases, it helps detoxify your body and reduce painful contractions of muscles. Sore throat? Drink some warm water. Menstrual cramps? Stop drinking cold stuff and switch to some hot water.

On the other hand, cold water slows down organ function and causes muscles to contract.
