Thursday 23 November marks Thanksgiving, that American holiday filled with pies, parades and presidential pardons (of turkeys). For those of you wanting to stuff yourself on some turkey next week, but frankly can't be arsed cooking your own (who even owns an oven in Beijing?), there are plenty of restaurants out there who've done all the heavy lifting, and basting, for you – just make sure you book in advance. However, for those of you who prefer gorging on a Thanksgiving feast at home (more convenient for that inevitable post-meal nap), we've also collated a bunch of handy takeaway and delivery services. It's time to get planning – these turkeys will be gobbled up before you know it.

Dine in

Ramo Thanksgiving dinner

Celebrate Thanksgiving at Ramo's newest branch in Lido. With a holiday menu full of festive classics such as honey apple roasted turkey, sausage chestnut bread stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy and pumpkin pie, there's something to keep the whole family happy. 

Thanksgiving dinner at Jing A Brewpub Xingfucun

Jing A Brewpub's special Thanksgiving dinner menu includes roast turkey (whole, half and small portions), plus all your favourite sides like chorizo stuffing, crispy brussels sprouts, sweet potato with marshmallows and more. And of course, they're also serving up dessert in the form of their decadent pumpkin pie in a jar.

Slow Boat Thanksgiving

At Slow Boat, their festive menu features a whole roasted turkey made with their Helmsman’s Honey Ale glaze, traditional stuffing, chunky mashed potatoes and gravy, creamy green bean casserole, sweet cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, plus a glass of house wine.

Thanksgiving at V Sports

V Sports serves up a four-course holiday feast this Thanksgiving featuring sole ceviche and figs with herb sauce, creamy pumpkin soup, roasted turkey breast with gravy and sides (sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, sauteed green vegetables) and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

Designed to be shared, TRB's festive menu encompasses everything you crave this chilly season – from homemade soups, TRB’s signature gravlax and lobster to an incredible selection of roasts ranging from meatloaf and honey-glazed ham to a stuffed turkey with cranberry gravy. Other highlights include truffle mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts with pecans and pumpkin pie topped with meringue.

Thanksgiving at Lily's American Diner

From November 23 to 26, Lily's American Diner will be serving up a traditional all-American Thanksgiving dinner at each of its three locations. However, for those wanting to gather the family round at home, Lily's is also delivering whole roasted turkeys imported from the US. Sides include homemade stuffing, mashed potato, sweet potato, mixed veggies, cranberry sauce and gravy.

Home Plate have also put together a classic Thanksgiving feast that can feed up to 10 people (or leave smaller groups with leftovers, yay!). Alternatively, you can order each dish a la carte.The full menu features a barbecued whole turkey with smoked giblet gravy, boozy cranberry sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, pecan-crusted sweet potato casserole, honey-glazed carrots and country green beans.

Thanksgiving dinner at The Local

From November 20 to 26,  The Local will be preparing a lavish Thanksgiving feast ready to take home. A turkey feast fit for six to eight people with family-sized sharing sides, the menu includes a whole roasted turkey, pumpkin soup, sage stuffing, macaroni and cheese, pumpkin pie and more. For those dining in, The Local also offers a vegetarian option where gnocchi replaces turkey (sides remain the same).
