The wonderful Fête de la Musique is back in Beijing this June and we couldn't be more psyched for the packed lineup of très cool music that's on offer. There are a lot of shows to get your head around, so here's our handy guide for everything you need to know about Beijing's live music festival.
What is Fête de la Musique?
Fête de la Musique is an annual festival of live music that's celebrated in over one hundred countries around the world, as part of World Music Day. It was launched in France in 1982, and has been in Beijing since 2012.
When is Fête de la Musique?
Fête de la Musique is held every year on June 21, the day of the summer solstice.

Venues around Beijing, which means you may have to make some hard choices between bands that are on at the same time in different places. The venues involved are Yue Space, Omni Space, Temple Bar and Mao Livehouse Wukesong.
