RBG Documentary screening

Democrats Abroad China's Women's Caucus hosts a screening of the documentary RBG, the real-life, personal story of US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Ginsburg has become an icon around the world, as a result of her work protecting human rights and advocating for women and gender equality.

This Irishman is on a whirlwind world tour, with one night only in Beijing. Catch the man who's performed all over the world, with rave reviews from Edinburgh Fringe-goers. His hysterical take on politics, the world, people, economics and more makes his shows rather memorable.
CBAC Craft Beer Festival

Plenty of delicious pours to be had at the first edition of the Craft Brewer's Association of China's (CBAC) festival, featuring only independent Chinese crafters in their largest ever gathering under one roof – over 30 brewers from across the country will be here, with beers free-flowing.
The Vaccines

These UK indie boys hit it back in the early 2010s with a string of infectious hits, including 'Post Break-Up Sex' and 'If You Wanna'. They arrive in Beijing in support of new release Combat Sports.
Owl City

Owl City, the one-man band of Adam Young, popped onto the mainstream music scene back in 2009 with his album Ocean Eyes, containing the chart-topping single 'Fireflies'. His latest album, and basis of his tour, is Cinematic, containing 18 songs that help to tell the story of his life and experiences.
Rhye
Omni Space. Wed 14. 450RMB; 350RMB (presale).
Formerly consisting of Danish instrumentalist Robin Hannibal and Mike Milosh, Rhye first surfaced in 2013 with their booming piano, analogue synths, natural percussion and heavenly vocals. Now the solo R&B project of Milosh, Rhye has quietly become a critical darling, garnering acclaim from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and Spin.
Boy Pablo

Norway-based Boy Pablo, fronted by Pablo Muñoz, brings charming bedroom-pop jams straight out of dreams. Or straight out of the Mac DeMarco handbook – you decide. Following two singles in 2016, Pablo dropped his first EP Roy Pablo and his DeMarco-esque music video for 'Everytime' went viral last year, chalking up more than seven million views on YouTube.
Kayzo
One Third. Fri 16. 120RMB.
Kayzo, aka Hayden Capuozzo, is an American DJ best known for his remixes that turn songs into trap and hardstyle anthems. His latest release was titled OVERLOAD and featured hits such as 'WE ARE THE MONSTERS' and 'FEEL THE POWER', if that gives you any stronger indication of just how hard his hardstyle is. Bring grandma to this one.
TNT Theatre: Macbeth

A dark thriller as well as a profound study of the nature and allure of evil, Macbeth was TNT Theatre's first Shakespeare production, with the troupe having presented the play in 31 countries and 267 cities worldwide since its premiere performance in 2000. This full-blooded production unleashes the vital power of Shakespeare's dark masterpiece, blending a highly physical style, well-integrated musical score and dynamic interpretation of the Shakespearean verse that has generated enthusiasm from audiences and critics alike.
When Lines Become Boundaries
Minsheng Art Museum. Until Nov 25. Free.
Pei Yongmei is a young Chinese visual artist who uses mediums from videos to paintings to installations. This exhibition showcases her work over the years, dissolving boundaries in an attempt to tackle social issues.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

This second instalment of JK Rowling's wonderful world of wizards follows the story of magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). When the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) escapes custody – following his capture in the previous film – Scamander is enlisted by Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to thwart Grindelwald's dastardly plans of a pureblood wizard world.
The Miseducation of Cameron Post
Camera Stylo. Sun 18. Free.
Desiree Akhavan follows up 2014's lovely Appropriate Behaviour with a tender comic drama about a lesbian teenager dealing with society's disapproval. Part One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, part John Hughes film, it packs an emotional punch and a career-best performance from Chloë Grace Moretz.
