Beer lovers will be spoilt for choice at the Beijing Craft Beer Festival. Touted as the largest craft beer festival in Asia, the event will take place from April 29 to May 1 at Shijingshan's Shougang Park, featuring over 100 established and emerging craft breweries from all over China, including home favorites like Great Leap, Slow Boat, Arrow Factory, Beersmith, Peiping Machine, Wild Kite, and Panda Brew. But that's not all. This craft beer bonanza also boasts a huge music line-up, featuring big name DJs such as Mickey Zhang, Weng Weng, Huang Weiwei, Jackson Lee, and Yang Bing to keep the energy high. What's more, keep your eyes peeled for Time Out Beijing's own booth in the form of a food truck, where you can sample free beer and nab vouchers and discounts for drink purchases at the festival.
Got nothing planned for the holiday? Sip your way through 500 craft beers and get down to electro-techno beats inside Shougang's post-industrial surrounding. The best part? Things don't kick off until 2 pm each day, so you'll have plenty of time to recover from the prior day's drinking.
Early bird tickets to the festival are on sale now for 80RMB per person, which include a wristband and complimentary festival tasting glass (food and other drinks are extra). Purchase your tickets by clicking the link below.
