1,400 Hectare Park Will Open in Shanghai this September

This September, Shanghai will open an enormous park boasting 1,400 hectare (14 square kilomter) in Jiading. 

The park is being built to integrate natural surroundings native to the area, including woodlands, wetlands and farmlands.

4500 acres of green fields

80 acres of colored rice fields

90 acres of bamboo forest

65 acres of lavender and other flowers

Grapefruit and kiwi garden

The park will also include a natural bird habitat forest and an children's play area

17 landscaped themed bridges

Three themed avenues

1.8km Rosacea Avenue 

2.7km Cedar Avenue

1.7km North America Maple Avenue

There will also be two tourist centers, as well as three large parking lots that can accomodate up to 28 busses and 800 cars. There are also many ways to enjoy the park including renting a boat and bicycles.
