DO: REVOLUCION COKTAIL 2.0

Fire, shaker, free tequila, this place rocks all night long! The bartenders are out of control and so is the crowd. Heading to revolucion is a way to admit you are going to get wasted within few hours. You know, we know it…

DON'T: THE NEST

Classy, trendy and successful people of Shanghai have the dinner at the Nest, tasting Nordic dishes with a delightful glass of wine. You don’t want to be the one who doesn’t fit in.

DO: LOGAN’S PUNCH

In Logan’s words  “Bars should be like great sex, it’s consenting adults doing something they love in a setting where no one can judge and everyone leaves satisfied and slightly sticky.” Hence we guess they can forgive the occasional drunk behavior.

DON'T: AVENUE JOFFRE

Japanese bars are amazing.. no complaint about that. The service is meticulous, subtle and respectful, in other words above average standards. But you can’t really imagine yourself getting drunk in front of these cocktail architects.

BECAUSE OF... THE ATMOSPHERE

DO: CAFÉ DES STAGIAIRES

Café des Stagiaires’ happy hour pulls the beer price down to RMB25, awesome.  Plus you can say whatever passes through your mind because most of the costumers don’t speak English. Oh wait, if you talk about politics they might understand… but don’t worry, you can’t get nastier than the French when it comes to this topic.

DON'T: JZ CLUB

Classy venue with red velvet couch, golden jazzy voice, elegant people… you are allowed to get tipsy by sipping whisky cocktail and letting your mind blow with the golden vibes. Not a place where to dance on the table with your shirt open singing Call me maybe.

BECAUSE OF... THE LOCATION

DO: THE SHED

Out of the obvious fact that the Shed is cool ,cheap and their sofas are awesome, it is conveniently located on ShanxiBei lu, nearby Kangding Lu. Not far away from People Square, from Jing An, from the FFC… easy to grab a taxi from, or to roll your way back home by scooter or mobike.

Hours:  Daily 11:00am - 3:00am 

Price:  RMB40 per beer 

DON'T: FLAIR

Flair is in PUDONG. Who wants to get drunk in Pudong? You might never find a taxi to get back to Puxi, get adopted by a local family and never escape.
