8 of the Best Live Bands This Weekend
There’s an eclectic range of live music on this weekend depending on what you’re in to. Chinese New Wave band P.K.14 are on tour as are Chinese hip hop act C-Block, and there’s Mongolian band Mohanik in Shanghai for the first time in five years. Japanese Funk group Osaka Monaurail hit Unico for their 25th anniversary and Japanese instrumental four-piece Lite are at MAO Livehouse. There’s also German punk rockers Arrested Denial and Icelandic singer songwriter Hafdis Huld.

One of the premier bands of Mongolia, Mohanik arrive back in Shanghai for the first time in five years. For this show at Inferno they will perform their second album “Mohanik at Amarbaysgalant” in full, along with some old favorites.
